Do not look directly into the 2014 as it may blind you

Wow what an amazing 24 hours. First we grab one of the premier OCs in college football. And then in the last few minutes my twitter dropped these 2 gems right after another: Leading OSU recruiter leaving team for the NFL (Vrabel). Followed one minute later by UCLA flips DE committed to ND. 2014, I salute you!

Would not take back going to the NC game due to losing it but you are correct, that one really hurt. It hurt so bad because I think we were the better team. I think we win that game 7 out of 10 times, just really did not get the bounces.

UCLA's been making a habit of starting classes slowly and then flipping a large group at the end shortly before signing day.  I thas been a really interesting pattern to watch over the past couple of classes.  They also flipped a linebacker from Texas who was an Alabma commit recently.   That said, it's apparently because his dad is sick, which is a sad situation for him and his family.

Hi. Debbie Downer here; I'd just like to point out that 2014 is but an infant. Sure, it's all cute and sweet now, but be careful. 2013 was a young adult or possibly even middle aged by the time we figured out it was a total dick of a year.

As a fanbase, we are due for a great year.  Anyone who is still here after watching most of the 21st century go awry deserves to be rewarded.

I'll reserve judgement on 2014 until the end of the year. 2013 had me fooled by teasing a national championship in basketball but then delivered whatever that was this season in football.
