LOUD NOISES!!!!!
December 29th, 2013 at 12:15 AM ^
Sure what the hell. Morris needs to abide by the Rex Grossman school of quarterbacking about now
December 29th, 2013 at 12:15 AM ^
Build a damn fence !
December 29th, 2013 at 12:16 AM ^
We need a better coaching staff. Greg Mattison is on notice as is Borges. Both have done a subpar job this year.
December 29th, 2013 at 12:21 AM ^
On a positive note, Shane has looked good. His throws have been on point. Silly play calling and drops are hurting us
December 29th, 2013 at 7:52 AM ^
with Hoke
December 29th, 2013 at 12:16 AM ^
Seriously.
December 29th, 2013 at 12:36 AM ^
It is not 2013's fault that our gameplans have been brutal all year. That will not miraculously change when January arrives.
December 29th, 2013 at 1:13 AM ^
Maybe 2013 is holding Borges' child hostage
December 29th, 2013 at 12:17 AM ^
With every game, I think we're all starting to realize more and more just how screwed we are with this coaching staff. It doesn't seem that they did one single thing to prepare for this game on the defensive side of the ball. There have been no apparent adjustments whatsoever on either side of the ball. Zero sense of urgency. The team looks weak and basically helpless out there. I'm not even sure it's a debate anymore; in a year or two we're going to be starting over again. This is depressing beyond belief.

its not mississippi state but its close.

5th times a charm Al

Funchess.
December 29th, 2013 at 12:21 AM ^
Morris looks great. Everything else...the opposite of that.
December 29th, 2013 at 12:21 AM ^
I don't think its coaching. The players are subpar and the good players we do have are freshmen and sophomores. Once we get a Jabrill Peppers to replace Raymon Taylor etc. we will be much better.

Sure, once we get a true freshman in the D backfield our problems will be solved.
December 29th, 2013 at 12:22 AM ^
Fire ALL the staff!!!
December 29th, 2013 at 12:22 AM ^
I asked my 7th grader what missblocksaint did wrong. Immediate he said he he went too high. Is our middle school coach better or the middle school kids smarter?
December 29th, 2013 at 12:24 AM ^
My faith in this staff is nearing zero.
December 29th, 2013 at 12:39 AM ^
(not really) but I could not agree more. Kansas state is not a good team. Of course, neither are we. Shane looks serviceable though.
December 29th, 2013 at 12:25 AM ^
I have been worshipping at the throne of Greg Mattison for three years and I am now starting to seriously wonder if he is way overrated.
December 29th, 2013 at 12:56 AM ^
Funny. I was really expecting I would get negged to Bolivian for that and told I was a moron. And now I am kind of disappointed I wasn't. Shit.
December 29th, 2013 at 1:21 AM ^
is over with Gregory.
December 29th, 2013 at 12:53 AM ^
I think that he and Hoke should refund the school a portion of their high salaries. Seriously.
December 29th, 2013 at 1:00 AM ^
fuckin agree
December 29th, 2013 at 12:25 AM ^
lulz the running QB just threw a should be TD on Ray Taylor. What are they teaching in secondary practice.
December 29th, 2013 at 12:26 AM ^
Jesus we better go score a TD off this. Like now. Throw it deep to Chesson...NOW BORGES NOW
December 29th, 2013 at 12:26 AM ^
They're playing reverse MANball. WOMANball?
December 29th, 2013 at 12:34 AM ^
That's dumb.
December 29th, 2013 at 1:21 AM ^
Coming from a guy who is about to be fired.
December 29th, 2013 at 1:24 AM ^
Yet I wish you were on our coaching staff.
December 29th, 2013 at 12:27 AM ^
Miserable. HEY AJ...THEIR DEFENSE DOESN'T NEED HELP
December 29th, 2013 at 12:28 AM ^
This is a damn embarrassment. Get rid of Funk, Smith, and Mallory. We need better and more innovative coaching so Borges can go too. Hoke has the right attitude but the wrong staff. They suck and we won't return to greatness with these bumbling clowns. GTFO now!
December 29th, 2013 at 12:28 AM ^
No sense in getting upset. We might as well get used to it. This staff and AD, will be around till at least 2018. It's not all bad though, at least that clown DB... has a Michigan man at the helm.
December 29th, 2013 at 12:30 AM ^
I'm looking at the full picture and I'm just in shock over what the hell has happened to our program. After the 2007 season, if someone had told me Michigan would go 3-9, 5-7, 7-6, 11-2, 8-5 and 7-6, I would have told you that you were a f*cking lunatic.
And it's not just the season records. It's fielding the worst defenses in school history, the worst offensive lines in school history to go along with the worst special teams in the country, which had already been a problem for 20 years.
It's unreal.
December 29th, 2013 at 12:33 AM ^
UM would go through two subpar coaching staffs?
December 29th, 2013 at 12:41 AM ^
After dissecting your statement a little bit more, you're right. Subpar is the right word, and it's the staff as a whole. We're being outcoached. Shane can't catch the balls he's putting on the money. Tackling is incredibly poor. Zero gap responsibility, the zone is completely broken. This is higher up than the players. They're in a position to fail.
December 29th, 2013 at 1:22 AM ^
6 or more losses in 4 of the past 6 years. Dark days my friends.
December 29th, 2013 at 1:58 AM ^
This decline started way before 2007. Since 2001 we have beaten Ohio exactly twice and won 1 BCS game we have been mediocre to crappy for a long time.
December 29th, 2013 at 12:31 AM ^
I'm not bitching, but since this is a fairly meaningless game, the next best thing to a win is Shane's experience he is receiving.
December 29th, 2013 at 12:43 AM ^
He is the lone bright spot in this shitshow.
December 29th, 2013 at 12:33 AM ^
Anyone watch the UFC tonight? Had it streaming on the computer. All I can say is wow!
December 29th, 2013 at 12:38 AM ^
That about made me throw up. I had to stop streaming immediately.
December 29th, 2013 at 12:41 AM ^
I watched it also. What a freak accident that was. Silva has to retire now. There is no way, at his age, he will be able to fight again after that kind of injury. He will struggled to walk normally for a while.
December 29th, 2013 at 12:42 AM ^
Yeah, I did. Miesha Tate did a pretty good job of defending, getting to the third round, but ultimately Ronda Rousey still won by armbar. Silva recovered pretty quickly from that punch - looked like he was out on replay, but man, freak break on the checked leg kick. Unfortunate.
December 29th, 2013 at 12:47 AM ^
The last fight I'll remember of Silva is his ridiculous antics and getting knocked out by Weidman last time. It's sad, really, because I'm a Silva fan. I hope the guy can walk normally again. I guess if Russ Smith could do it...
December 29th, 2013 at 12:52 AM ^
The ladies had a fantastic fight. Tate should of tried to stay on her feet instead of trying to take it to the ground. Rousey is way too powerful on the ground. Tate's corner gave her bad advice imo. The Silva injury was incrediblely disgusting. Weidman seems to be the real deal. He had him hurting early and the fight could have been called in the first. That actually would have saved Silva's career.
December 29th, 2013 at 1:00 AM ^
I don't blame Tate for trying to take Rousey down - but I'd say after you try and get taken down yourself (man, Rousey's judo is good!), then stop. Especially after it happens twice.
