META: Another MGoHoliday Message
If I had one wish that I could wish this holiday season, it would be for all the students of the university to join hands and sing The Victors in the spirit of harmony and peace.
If I had two wishes that I could wish for this holiday season, the first would be for all the students of the university to join hands and sing The Victors in the spirit of harmony and peace.. and the second would be for 30 million MGoPoints a month to be given to me, neg-free in my MGoAccount.
You know, if I had three wishes that I could make this holiday season, first, of course, would be for all the students to get together and sing.. the second would be for the 30 million MGoPoints every month to me.. and the third would be for all encompassing voting rights over every living poster on MGoBlog.
And if I had four wishes that I could make this holiday season, first would be the crap about the students.. second would be for the 30 million MGoPoints.. the third would be for all the voting.. and the fourth would be to set aside one month each year for an extended 31-day viewing of Kate Upton GIFs, to be brought about slowly by cat photos and that my little pony somebody, I can't think of its name, of course my lovely wife could come, too. She's behind me 100% on this, I guarantee you.
Wait a minute, maybe that GIF thing should be the first wish! So, if I made that the first wish, because, you know, it could all go boom tomorrow, and then what have you got? No, no.. the students singing would be great, that would be nice. No, no, who am I kidding! I mean, they're not gonna be able to get all those students together! I mean, the logistics of the thing is impossible! They can't even make it to the game on time. So, we reorganize: here we go. First, the GIFs - we go with that; second, the MGoPoints. No! We go with the voting second, then the MGoPoints, and then the students. Oh, wait, oh geez! I forgot about revenge against the Buckeyes! Okay.. revenge against all the Buckeyes, they should die like pigs in Hell! That would be the fourth wish! And of course, my fifth wish would be for all the students of the university to join hands and sing The Victors in the spirit of peace and harmony. Thank you, everybody.

I have to say that being a mod is about as close as you get to all-encompassing voting, if only because you can delete posts - yours and those of other people. One of the best things about that is that if you in fact delete one of your own posts, it's basically like being able to downvote yourself as you lose a point for the deleted post.

You can downvote yourself. Upvote too... I discovered that in one of the initial posbang threads when voting came back online. Someone commented that it appeared that you could, I tested it, it worked (and counted(yes, I voted up)).
Is that an easily fixable thing?
