Possible Borges Replacement (Joke)

Dear MGoBretheren,

 

Since the end of the season we have been searching in vain for viable Al Borges replacements. Well fear not as I have found what I believe to be a worthy candidate. He applied for the head coach position at the University of North Dakota so he may consider UM's OC job beneath him but perhaps he'd be willing to take a lesser position if not offered the UND job.

Also, from reading the presentation he may be able to work with Mattison on his blitzing which should be seen as a positive by some members of our community.

2nd Note: After looking at his preferred playcalls I'm not so sure this isn't Borges applying to UND under a pseudonym.

This is good stuff. I saw something about this earlier today - I think he actually got a standard reply from UND's HR department on how to formally apply for the position too. Even if it was a form e-mail and this is not in earnest, it would be awesome to see this guy at least attempt to go through the process.

I mean, technically if they hired the guy he could possibly surround himself with super-aggressive coordinators who have the same vision. Recruiting might be a bit of an issue, though.

Is just to get the interview. You want to stand out from the other schmucks. I'd say the second part of that was mission accomplished. If he got the interview as well: bonus!
