KSU has been good for a long time. Bill Snyder is a great coach with a terrific track record in the Big 12. The only time KSU is down is when Snyder temporarily retires. KSU is Iowa, only better. Iowa has beaten Michigan alot lately.

Double digit losses most games. Lost to an FCS. Their best win was against a 7-5 team. In my estimation, this is a cake team. We should blow their doors off.

K-State destroyed Texas Tech and played everyone tough. Their worst loss was by 10 points. I think we'll beat them if the offense can do most of what it did against OSU, but it won't be easy.

Really don't know where you're coming from on this one. They lost to three top-tenish teams, a desperate Texas team and the most dominant FCS team over the last three years. There isn't a loss like Penn State or Iowa on the schedule and nothing as bad as our near disasters against Akron and UConn.
I think this is a very winnable game, but nobody should be expecting a cake walk.

Bowl games mean more practice, more national exposure, another "perk" as you recruit. Considering the year we had, it was about as good as we should expect. Now we just need to win! Go Blue!!!

4 years ago we lost by 40 to Mississippi State in the Gator Bowl to go 7-6, capping a three year stretch in which we lost 22 games.

Michigan has NEVER played in a non-January bowl game against a non-POWERHOUSE program in our entire history
We never played, for example, Colorado State in a bowl game in December at any point.

I dont know what the date of the bowl was but the Holiday bowl vs BYU in 84 was no great shakes.

K-State went 5-4 in a bad Big12. Their win margin was 7.67 points per game. Michigan went 3-5 in an average B1G. Their win margin was actually 2.38 points per game in conference, meaning that even at 3-5, we outscored our opponents in conference. My metrics say Michigan should be a 9 point favorite. I'll have a diary with why coming up this week.
