Congratulations to msu

As much as I hate it, Dantonio is an incredible coach. 2 conference titles in the last 4 years, a 12 win season this year. Sparty No is dead. The Spartans are not going away.

Dantonio and Urban will be equally as hard to defeat for the near future.

Thank you for shutting up osu, though.

Everyone loves an OSU loss, but you don't celebrate MSU winning the conference. This blog is a joke

1. They won the conference, time to admit they were the best team in the conference this season.

2. It prevents Ohio State from being embarrassed in a national title game by 3-4 scores.

3. Gives the B1G a fighting chance to look good come bowl season.

4. If it wasn't Michigan in the B1G Champ game I would hope anyone but Ohio would win.

It prevents Ohio from getting a chance at a MNC against a team that may be nearly as overrated as they are.

Not saying FSU is overrated for sure, but I'm not sold yet given their schedule.  I would give Ohio at least 50-50 odds to win against FSU, and I can't think of anything worse than a Ohio NC, even if mythical.

nothing having to do with developing players.. you actually think a team in michigan who started more freshman than every in michigan history would compete with a team (msu) who has 15/24 of their seniors that play are all 5th year seniors..

We have a bunch of freshman and redshirt freshman playing at most of our important positions

Can we end the "not developing players" myth? The defense has 2 or 3 all-american candidates coming back next year who will probably be drafted in the first 3 rounds. The offense has one of the best QBs in the conference (and was playing WR 14 months ago) plus a sophomore WR/TE that nobody could consistently defend.

How about the development of Schofield? What about Brendan Gibbons, Thomas Gordon, Jibreel Black, and Jeremy Gallon? Michigan could have 3-5 players drafted this year, the most in a long time. That doesn't happen without a player progressing.

The only issue of "development" was the double-whammy of a lot of youth in the midst of a scheme change on the OL. It happens. That doesn't mean that UM isn't developing its players.
