the easy way out, but I think this is a win with a healthy Stauskus right now, but a loss without Stauskus or with the 75% version of him that we would see tonight.  Michigan at full strength is better than I think you think they are right now, but on the road, without their best scorer, with Duke coming off a loss, that is likely going to be a little bit too much to overcome.

I love Michigan v. Duke though.  It is eye candy for college basketball fans.  Always a great matchup.

I know Coach B likes to use his crazy defense sparingly, but I would like to see it as our base defense. Now that we have Levert with his crazy long arms who can run the top of the key, we could really cause some problems for opposing teams. Nobody really runs this defense, so teams we play against won't be used to it, or how to effectively shoot us out of it. Our team also has a problem boxing guys out, and with this defense we'll have more people close to the basket that can turn and put a body on some bigs.                                                                                                                                  That being said, I think we beat Duke. I have zero real evidence, stats, or knowledgeable breakdown of why I think it will happen. I just have a feeling that Iowa State was a great lesson for our kids about being really challenged and having to overcome adversity. Go Blue, Beat Duke!!!

Thanks for this post. I would have forgotten about it. Game will be tough, but very winnable. Duke hasn't looked great in the couple games I've seen of them.
