Go Blue Beat Iowa!

This is not an informative post so if you are looking for that, stop reading now. Just a guy who sees the glass half-full for this team.

We lost today. It sucks but this team has grit and toughness for a roster comprised of 85% Frosh and Sophomores. This was their first road test and they ran up against a really good team who played inspired football. The gameplan wasn't to blame. We made some youthful mistakes and got beat.

Now that this team has a road game under their belt, they will be battle-tested heading to Iowa.

Win or lose, I know this team is going to fight until the end every game which is the Michigan spirit. I'm proud that they fought back today and almost pulled it out. And, I know they are going to fight in every game they play in reagrdless of weather, atmosphere, or circumstance.

Good luck to our boys next week at Iowa!

and will very likely play better than they did today. Iowa can't be too happy with their two performances in Kinnick against teams not found in the FBS. On the other hand, it will be a late-night homecoming game so Michigan will really have to bring it to pull the upset.

a jekyl and hyde team, or is PSU just not that good? I would feel a lot better about this next week if we were at home. I hope the team sticks to the 24 hour rule and doesn't have a emotional hangover.

Penn State is a good team, despite their offensive line and new crop of wide receivers. Iowa didn't look very crisp today which I guess happens when you play Arkansas State between Penn State on the road and Michigan at home. Oh well. We'll see who shows up next Saturday.

look very crisp against Penn State either. They simply won the 4th quarter while PSU self destructed.

Michigan CAN win at Iowa, and I wouldn't be shocked if it was a comfortable margin. But I don't expect that.
