Floyd or Cissoko?

Simple question: Who do you think should start against Iowa?

Can't we just have two of Warren? Cissoko seems to be quicker, but Floyd seems to have better instincts and size. It's a tough call. Hopefully practice will shine some light on who gives us the best chance to win.

I'd like to see Boubacar live up to his potential. The coaches are standing firm on the promise that each and every starting position is up for grabs every week so I guess we'll have to wait and see how they perform in practice. Honestly though, I don't care who starts as long as said starter can play inspired football.

Neither. Leave that position empty and just put another d-lineman on the field. Coverage will be just as good and we may actually get some pressure. kidding of course, but there's really nothing we can do now, we have these two guys to choose from, and we need to find some way to make it work best as possible

although Iowa has two very good WRs (McNutt and Johnson-Koulianos), and I'm not sure he can stay with them on speed routes. We shall see.

Floyd was in on one pass breakup but had several critical mistackles throughout the game. While Cissoko has blown some critical coverages downfield, he takes care of the short game. I'm confident that if Floyd had been starting several games, he would have blown some of those huge coverages as well. I'm sure the same goes for if he continues to start some more games. It's a tough question. I will trust whatever Rich Rod, Gibson, Robinson and any of the other coaches decide, but in my opinion Cissoko and Floyd are on a pretty even level right now. Cissoko, however, is much MUCH faster and has by far the better upside. Getting some more game experience will only make him better.

let's go with a three man front all time and two corners on that side of the field to double cover whoever lines up NOT against Warren. (sidenote: what is with people running wild with the neg votes in every thread.)

Neither. I would prefer to see Turner at this point. It's taking a lot of faith in the coaches to not feel like he is the best option at this point.

I don't see how he could be that much of a downgrade right now? Also why they don't get Big Will on the field for running downs blows my mind he is a big body and all he has to do is stuff the holes. But at linebacker if we could sneak in David Harris that might help us...

I say we go case by case for each game. If the team's receivers are bigger we go with Floyd. If they are faster, we go with Cissoko. Hopefully Turner will be able to play against Del. State and after that it may be a three horse race.
