Devin Gardner Praise Thread

Submitted by Toby Flenderson on

The kid came to play today. He showed some real heart and was the reason we were in the game until the end. He even was playing with one leg and was still fighting through. Thank you devin

to say I was hard on Gardner all season. But part of his bad play was on the line the other on Borges for putting him in bad situations. He played absolutely awesome today! Too bad he couldn't wait 2 more seconds for Gallon to get open on that 2pt conversion. Go Blue!

Seems like Devin is taking this loss hard (Telling reporters the loss is on him, it's all his fault for the loss, he'll only remember the interception from this game), but man I hope he can look back at himself one day and be proud.  He's bounced back from a lot of adversity and put on an absolute clinic today.  I still believe when he's confident and on he's one of the best quarterbacks in the country.  To be that amazing quarterback he has to be a little less hard on himself though.  A leader takes accountability with his head held high and provides an example of how to move forward.  Psychologically berating yourself is different than accountability and leadership.

Anyways, just trying to say you did amazing Devin, I'm personally very proud of you, and if you can keep your head up, stay a good teammate and work as hard as you have been, you'll find a lot of success in life (Hopefully on the football field, but more importantly in your general life)

One of the all-timers for a QB against OSU. Brilliant.

I do wonder if the UFR will show that the O-line also played miraculously which enabled the offense to be not-awful
