That would be the worst scenario for my heart. Ohio winning because their opponent was plagued by questionable morality. I have never, and will never again, root as hard for Sparty as I will next week. I physically cannot take Urbz in the national championship with Ohio.

Ohio State is not getting out of the Big Ten Championship game alive.

Plus ND and Ohio didn't lose in the regular season last year. The football universe demands more suffering beyond poor seasons for us. At least it led to an enjoyable ND blowout.

Hand to Michigan.

If this happens, the Big Ten should quit the entire system because it is flawed. What if, instead of Ohio State in that situation it was Michigan? We would never allow such horrible SEC incestuous logic. If OSU beats MSU, then they deserve to be in the Nat Championship game regardless of what happens in SEC land.

That was such a terrible decision to kick it, you have to know he is 5-10yrds short most of the time. Auburn is probably the dirtiest program is the SEC, which makes it worse
November 30th, 2013 at 7:40 PM ^
I'm pretty sure that's Bama, if there's even an outright leader.

"you have to know he is 5-10yrds short most of the time"
Not sure if you mistyped, but it was a different kicker for the final FGA.

I believe Saban was quoted after the game saying that the kicker routinely makes 60 yard kicks in practice and they had the wind.

Fire Saban. He got outcoached.

Amazing holy shit. Upside: no Bama in the MNC game, downside: probably Ohio plays for it.

MSU just clinched a rose bowl didn't they

Does Auburn jump OSU in the BCS is the question?
November 30th, 2013 at 7:34 PM ^
Auburn fans- I'll be waiting for my thank you card for predicting this.
Wolverine Devotee † @WolverinesMike
Auburn can run this FG back if alabama is short.

More of a factual statement than a prediction.

Auburn will jump Ohio.
November 30th, 2013 at 7:35 PM ^
Eat that, Saban! Now, if MSU can beat OSU, and Auburn loses next week, we could have a title game without the SEC and OSU.
November 30th, 2013 at 7:39 PM ^
Except mizzou would go to the title game if that happened.

November 30th, 2013 at 7:46 PM ^
Depending on where Alabama drops to in the poll (my guess is four or five), if Ohio State and Auburn lose in their championship games, you could see Alabama back in the NC game. Especially if Missouri loses tonight.
November 30th, 2013 at 7:58 PM ^
No, no more letting Bama in when they can;t even win their own f'ing division. Whatever needs to happen to make that not happen is a requirement.
December 1st, 2013 at 2:32 AM ^
Why not MSU? A one-loss team, whose only loss was to a ranked team (ND 25 at the time) with arguably the best defense in the country. Seems like that would be a better choice than Missouri or Bama.
November 30th, 2013 at 7:38 PM ^
Jeeeeesssssuuuuuussssss....what an ending.
I hate Ohio as much as anyone else, but it would help the conference if they were in the NC game and perhaps our recruiting.
Just saying......
