Gravewalk Tonight. Meet at Burton Tower at 6pm

Submitted by James Burrill Angell on
The Original SuperFan asked me to post that the annual Gravewalk tradition before the Ohio State game will take place tonight. Meet at Burton Belltower at 6pm sharp where the SuperFans and all who attend will make their annual march to Forest Hills Cemetary to lay maize and blue roses at the graves of Bo Schembechler, Bob Ufer and Fielding Yost. It's a great tradition and, particularly for you undergrads, something that should be on your bucket list before you graduate. Last year John Bacon came on the Gravewalk and was clearly moved by the experience. Those of you who join tonight likely will be too.

If you haven't gone, go. There's just something about signing The Victors in a cold dark and sometimes raining/ snowing cemetery in late November.

I had no idea that was tonight, I would have planned ahead but alas I'm busy. Sounds like a great thing to do in 2 years though - especially as I will be a senior about to go to my last home game. Thanks for the heads up regardless.

someone film parts or all of this so us fans that can't make it enjoy in this tradition?  I for one would love to be able to do this but living in the state down south (Ohio) I can't afford to take the 3+ hour drive for this.

SUPERFAN!!!

Is he still in AA?

Believe it or not this dude has some game with the females.  Just don't call him superfan when he's "doing work" I think he was a grad student at the B-School when I was there... figured he'd be long gone after he graduated
