Result of the MSU game
.
In Week 1 of this college football season, two men - either of whom could have ended up as Michigan's HC under slightly different circumstances - faced off against each other in a remote part of America that is notorious for its bad coffee
.
yes
.
the man most folks thought was a lock but never was (Miles) won that game over a less talented team coached by the man that had a more realistic shot of being the HC (Sarkisian)
.
THE KNOWLEDGE said way back that Sarkisian will be a good coach at Michigan; unfortunately, THE KNOWLEDGE's prediction that he will be the coach didn't come to pass due to some reasons (read Carroll). Sarkisian then proved THE KNOWLEDGE's point that he is a good coach by beating Carroll and USC. but, as a final twist, he lost last week to yet another man with Michigan ties in Harbaugh
.
yes
.
the world is a small place
.
yes
.
Onto the main point of this diary
.
Three weeks ago, on these very pages, THE KNOWLEDGE predicted that M will beat ND and promised that THE KNOWLEDGE will return before the MSU game
.
As promised, THE KNOWLEDGE is back
.
yes
.
THE KNOWLEDGE has basked in the glory of yet another closely accurate prediction of M's score against ND
.
yes
.
Now, THE KNOWLEDGE shall accurately predict the result of tomorrow's game
.
you may remember that THE KNOWLEDGE has a season prediction for M going 12-1 (with a Rose Bowl win over an overmatched USC). this means that there is a loss somewhere this season
.
yes
.
That loss will not be tomorrow
.
yes
.
Michigan will win a close game against MSU 38-34
.
yes
.
Doubters may STILL continue to doubt THE KNOWLEDGE, but by Satudary afternoon, when THE KNOWLEDGE's prediction comes right again,
.
THE KNOWLEDGE shall soar
.
and leave everyone in a trail of dust
.
yes
.

I like the prediciton - but the "yes" bullshit is dumb.

You are clearly not familiar with THE KNOWLEDGE
October 2nd, 2009 at 2:22 PM ^
Bash THE KNOWLEDGE at your peril!
October 2nd, 2009 at 2:25 PM ^
You joined this site 3 weeks ago. Perhaps you weren't around during the coaching search? The Knowledge's comments added some much-needed levity to the whole situation. DON'T FUCK WITH THE KNOWLEDGE. HE IS ALL KNOWING.
October 2nd, 2009 at 2:31 PM ^
Declaring something dumb on your second day here was probably a bad idea, lol.
October 2nd, 2009 at 4:27 PM ^
Bite your tongue, young padawan. You can't have THE KNOWLEDGE without
.
yes
.
Just like you can't have Chunks without MD 20/20.
yes
October 2nd, 2009 at 5:17 PM ^
The REAL Chunks.
You are no Chunks.
October 2nd, 2009 at 2:18 PM ^
I actually felt very relieved that you predicted a win. Thank you, Mr. Knowledge. You make my heart go boom.
October 2nd, 2009 at 2:21 PM ^
Only fools and idiots would doubt THE KNOWLEDGE!
.
YES!
.
THE KNOWLEDGE is never wrong (unless intervening circumstances beyond his control occur to make him wrong)!
.
YES

THE KNOWLEDGE is Bill Martin!!!
October 2nd, 2009 at 2:23 PM ^
THE KNOWLEDGE! Reminds me of the fortune teller machine in the movie "Big." Tremendous.
October 2nd, 2009 at 2:27 PM ^
I think my favorite part of this is that everyone piled on the poor guy who dared criticize the "yes" interludes.
October 2nd, 2009 at 2:27 PM ^
what is this, like the 3rd time some variation of THE KNOWLEDGE is going to get ban hammered?
not that i necessarily agree with it, but it's going to happen. book it.
October 2nd, 2009 at 3:48 PM ^
So, Dex...say it ain't so. Did you just predict that the Mgoblog's resident soothsayer, psychic, if you will, will get the boot?
October 2nd, 2009 at 4:22 PM ^
he already did at least once because people on other boards were confusing THE KNOWLEDGE reports with MGOBLOG Reports
October 2nd, 2009 at 2:29 PM ^
The football weekend can now begin!
Love it!
October 2nd, 2009 at 2:31 PM ^
The saddest part is that THE KNOWLEDGE didn't tell us when he would be back.
October 2nd, 2009 at 2:32 PM ^
...I was actually a little nervous that THE KNOWLEDGE was going to pick MSU.
October 2nd, 2009 at 8:08 PM ^
For including the two dots as options.
October 2nd, 2009 at 2:41 PM ^
... The Knowledge is a B10 referee. He'll make sure that the score matches his prediction. Rest easy, people!
October 2nd, 2009 at 2:42 PM ^
Ok. Cool. I'm good now.
October 2nd, 2009 at 2:53 PM ^
for a UM blowout from THE KNOWLEDGE.
Michigan - 42, MSU - 17
October 2nd, 2009 at 2:57 PM ^
ALL HAIL THE KNOWLEDGE
October 2nd, 2009 at 2:58 PM ^
Far too few caps used in this entry.
Also only one "." in the breaks before and after "yes." I prefer two-three.
.
.
Could be improved.
But... yes.

October 2nd, 2009 at 4:01 PM ^
FINALLY thank god. I was waiting to hear from you. Call Vegas and put the farm on Michigan!
October 2nd, 2009 at 4:10 PM ^
I have more S's!
October 2nd, 2009 at 4:11 PM ^
It's not a "prediction" when he clearly already knows it's going to happen.
October 2nd, 2009 at 9:05 PM ^
I couldn't care less about the score. The only thing that I care about is the WIN for Michigan! And The Knowledge has predicted that the Men In Blue will bring it home to Ann Arbor.
Thanks, man.
*EDIT* I just followed the Brian's link to "theonlycolors.com" (funny, I always thought the "only colors" were "Maize and Blue"). He predicts a very similar score, and for almost the same reasons. Reading his prediction, however, it makes me feel a scintilla better to know I'm not the only one with butterflies in my stomach this evening. Evidently, they've got them in EL as well.
October 3rd, 2009 at 8:20 AM ^
brings the fuckin' ruckus.
