I will never forget that field goal either. I happened to be in Alaska that weekend, and woke up real nice and early to (benefit from a huge difference in time zones and) watch my Wolverines get a dramatic win with my morning coffee.

I would like to give props to the Daily. I feel like their articles this year are vastly superior to last years. Its a much welcomed change and I hope this continues

That was a really well done piece. The story is sad, and I wish him and his family the best. I can't even imagine the weight he must feel thinking he might leave his family behind.

I agree completely about the sentiments re Brabb AND the quality of Daily writing. Andy Reid's articles have particularly been very good (and I say that as a former Daily Associate Sports Editor circa the late 60's and early 70's when the Daily had the latest press deadline in the state of Michigan and regularly was the only paper in the state to have late West Coast scores and upsets).
