I agree the OSU game should be played under the lights. This way we can turn off the lights should we start to get a royal spanking by OSU.

No thanks. Letting those people into Michigan Stadium at noon is bad enough. There are already bound to be problems outside the stadium. You want those idiots drinking all day long running amok in Ann Arbor?
Same thing goes for sparty. Let ohio do a night game at their dump.

I am so sick of this defeatist attitude on these boards. If I have read one post openly lamenting how OSU is going to destroy us I've read 100. I understand this has been a disappointing season, but this is way over the top. I don't know if it's a defense mechanism or what. But personally, I find it gross.
Michigan will probably lose the game, sure. But it's not certain. OSU did not look dominant last week on defense. We haven't been that bad in the B1G so far: there was one blowout loss to MSU (a good team that is just better than us) on the road; a flukey loss on the road to Penn St. in a game we honestly should have won if our kicking had been anywhere close to normal; and a tough loss to a decent Nebraska team in a game that could have gone either way. Last year's game at OSU was very close, and these teams are not that different than they were then, in fact I could argue that we are playing better on defense now than we were heading into that game. And while OSU has won a lot of games the last two years, it's worth pointing out they haven't beaten a single team that was ranked in the top 15 when they played them.
Are we going to lose? Probably. But this is by no means assured, and to get blown out would definitely be very disappointing. I see no particular reason to expect that. And I see no value in constantly declaring that it's going to happen. This team is down but it needs the support of its fan base, it doesn't need this crap, just like it doesn't need fans booing at the FIRST HOME LOSS of the Hoke era on a weekend when many recruits are being hosted. I hope we can pick it up and be more positive, or at least more realistic, than the fatalist attitude that seems to prevail around here the last few weeks.

It's a good thing for me too because normally we have Thanksgiving for my wife's family on the Saturday on which the game falls, and every year the game is in Ann Arbor, I have to explain to them why I won't be there until 5 PM or so. Not being sport people, they seem to forget that I e-mail the schedule to everyone for a reason. Thanksgiving is going to be on Thanksgiving this year, so I don't have to be in the doghouse this year.

if your Thanksgiving WERE on game-day this year...you might choose to be with loved ones who could hold you when the Urban-acolypse comes to town.
Since the stadium is bound to be overwhelmed with red idiots and all.

Eh, the M/Ohio game was obvious. I'm sure everyone knew it would be a noon start.
November 18th, 2013 at 1:25 PM ^
That's about as predictable as our offense.

I like noon better. More time to party after the victory.

Go away, Buckeye fan.
