Somewhere in Big Ten-land, Nebraska pats Indiana on the back and whispers, "It's okay, Hoosiers.  Wisconsin does that sometimes.  We know how you feel."

<Pause>

"But at least we beat Michigan in the Big House."

OSU's days as #3 should be over.  They are by far the best team in The Big10, but that defense that some posters said improved and had prime time players has given up 35 to Illinois.

Does anyone honestly think OSU is a top 5 team - i.e., that they're better than Stanford, Baylor and Oregon?  Hell, I don't know if they're even really a top 10 team.  They've given up 36 so far today and will probably give up 30+ next week to Indiana next week.  Don't be surprised if our offense comes alive against them as well.  If our D comes to play, it's a winnable game.

Illinois is keeping it close and respectable with OSU. Illinois is a 3-6 team. By that logic, we should be able to keep it close too, maybe even win it.

Sadly, why do I not even remotely believe that?

Doesn't it make you wish Michigan was even semi-competent?  I mean, honestly - I would rather have Vandy's coach, or Duke's coach, or hell, even Temple's coach right now.  I am sorry.  We barely beat Akron.  We barely beat UConn.  There are so many who do so much with less - clearly less.  We have to look elsewhere.

Did Nebraska blow it by not challenging the non-touchback call in the 3rd?

Looked like State player touched punt while he was in the end zone but ball was spotted at 1 yard line. Fumble on next play leads to spartan touchdown.

Am I missing something or did the Huskers blow a chance to challenge and win?

On MSU's fake field goal - the placeholder that ran the fake ...his knee was down when he caught the ball. Is that legal to run then??
