Gotta be just giving the little used seniors the start in a game they might actually win.  I expect to see a lot more Wilson and Gordon throughout the game.

I don't think Gordon has been anything special this year, but doubt Furman is better.  Wilson has been fairly good overall.  Unless there's some other issue going on behind the scenes, it doesn't make sense to me.  Avery is a good student and a good guy, but he's not a better safety than Wilson at this point.

makes you think some of the rumors are true - the def. wasn't the problem last week.  The off. looks as bad as always!  Lets keep a RB in that can't block.

Still though I don't see any logical reason for this unless he is injured or had another off the field violation. No idea why Avery would be playing over Wilson either.
