Number 8 for Baylor is my favorite player now
November 7th, 2013 at 8:23 PM ^
Not sure what DB's are supposed to do in that situation....go low and blow out a knee McGahee style? Put your self in danger by trying to go chest high even though the offensive player is lowering his shoulder?
Though with that said I would love to see a UM DB bring the heat and intensity on a hit like that.

Raymon Taylor had a really impressive (contact-wise) fill against Langford last week, stopping him dead on the spot. A lot more difficult of a hit than what just happened to OU.

Baylor's run defense looks amazing.
November 7th, 2013 at 8:29 PM ^
He was still taunting/psyching up the crowd when the ball was snapped. He was completely irrelevent to the play and Baylor still stopped. Dude was literally about 1-2 yards from the back of the endzone, facing the crowd when the ball was snapped. That would've been the #1 on #SCNotTop10 if they had scored
November 7th, 2013 at 8:46 PM ^
Count on it.
November 7th, 2013 at 8:29 PM ^
He was running around celebrating while Oklahoma hiked the ball on 4th and goal at the 1. His DC was chewing him out as he came off the field.

from my U of M ChemE grad son who is attending a conference in SF. He's at the Oregon - Stanford game ... hahaha. He has to miss the Nebraska game this weekend ... but he's likely to see a great game tonight ! Hi David !
Go Blue!

We now know, in my opinion, that Stoops does indeed have a pretty good "Motherf*cker" look, as evidenced by his disbelief on having to settle for an FG on that drive. It was nearly gifted to them, that drive, but alas, the Sooners took it right back to the store with the gift receipt.

Buddy; you're all right.
November 7th, 2013 at 9:05 PM ^
Shit, I just read the article. Not yay, not in the slightest.

Ace Williams is a garbage reporter who in his self proclaimed 2 years of covering Michigan football has broken several "OMG huge stories" all of which have come to nothing
See: Something about drugs & the app state game, something about gambling. He's trash and it's a shame the interweb gives him an audience for his bull

These announcers are horrendous. Does Fox have Gus Johnson doing something better tonight?

So it's 20 minutes into a game featuring Baylor, and the score is 5-3? Weirdest fucking score I've ever seen.

Pretty impressive. I wonder what the record is?
Oops, now 113 penalty yards.

174-Oregon St. vs. Notre Dame, Fiesta, Jan. 1, 2001
November 7th, 2013 at 8:58 PM ^
These refs seem to be pro-Baylor so far. Let's see if this keeps up. Tons of non-calls on blatent holds when Baylor has the ball, and a couple of questionable calls against the Sooners.
Stoops is gonna let the refs know this at halftime for sure.

Baylor now has 118 yards of offense after that drive, some 22 minutes into regulation play. Baylor really does look like a different team when forced to operate at sublight speeds. Of course, Oklahoma has a smidge over half of Baylor's yards. They are trying to score, folks, they really are...

Love watching Oregon playing Offense................jeez how long has Skov been at Stanford? Seems like I have heard his name since Harbaugh's first year at Stanford.
November 7th, 2013 at 9:05 PM ^
Reece Davis: Bad PBP guy or worst PBP guy? So boring.
November 7th, 2013 at 9:12 PM ^
He is pretty boring, but the color guy on FS1 is really annoying.
November 7th, 2013 at 9:17 PM ^
November 7th, 2013 at 9:08 PM ^
Oklahoma has now lined up in the neutral zone twice. Both times on third down.
November 7th, 2013 at 9:11 PM ^
I just want to point out what a great flag throw the OU-BU ref just had. Backpedalling quickly and still managed an off balance throw to the exact spot the receiver fell down. Quality.
November 7th, 2013 at 9:14 PM ^
and Baylor is starting to turn it on against OU....
November 7th, 2013 at 9:14 PM ^
Wayne Lyons... I really wanted this guy at Michigan
November 7th, 2013 at 9:17 PM ^
November 7th, 2013 at 9:23 PM ^
I'm coveting so hard right now.
If we have this O Line we are undefeated.
November 7th, 2013 at 9:19 PM ^
but Baylor's stepping right into the BCS title picture
November 7th, 2013 at 9:19 PM ^
I think they look good on Stanford's helmets. You can sense who their hardest working guys are so obviously this is the solution to Michigan Football.
November 7th, 2013 at 9:19 PM ^
and the jailsexing is on in Waco
November 7th, 2013 at 9:20 PM ^
I want this offensive line. :(
November 7th, 2013 at 9:21 PM ^
Wow. 3rd and 1 and Stanford goes for the bomb. What a throw and catch; and play call.
November 7th, 2013 at 9:21 PM ^
Stanford's cheerleaders... About what I expected.
November 7th, 2013 at 9:25 PM ^
November 7th, 2013 at 9:21 PM ^
I would never imagine saying this but Baylor's D might be better then ours. The secondary for sure. And if we could trade O-line's please?

Why is a monster game like Oregon-Stanford being played on a Thursday?
November 7th, 2013 at 9:25 PM ^
I have no idea, but I don't mind it. It is a more interesting matchup than the NFL game.
November 7th, 2013 at 9:35 PM ^
My problem is that I won't be able to stay up for it all, it being a worknight...
November 7th, 2013 at 9:24 PM ^
So that is what real MANBALL looks like.
