Chad Penne to start Sunday!

That's pretty much amazing.
September 29th, 2009 at 9:56 AM ^
blame it on the name, blame it on the Penne! blame it on the ed-ed-ed-ed-ed-editor.

I will never be able to eat Italian straight faced again.
September 29th, 2009 at 10:00 AM ^
LOL, +1.

Detroit news fail, henne and pasta win
September 29th, 2009 at 10:01 AM ^
Wasn't sure if this was suppose to be a pun, if the head coach couldn't decide the starter.
September 29th, 2009 at 10:01 AM ^
Yet more proof than sports news editors are out to lunch. Does anyone actually read these things before they print?
September 29th, 2009 at 10:03 AM ^
The new Miami QB is former Michigan standout Chad Hennington.
September 29th, 2009 at 10:07 AM ^
Let me start by saying I loved Henne and he was a stud QB, but I always thought he had spaghetti arms....I guess it could be like penne.
September 29th, 2009 at 10:08 AM ^
Is the detroit press trying to noodle Penne on?
September 29th, 2009 at 10:31 AM ^
Pasta puns? Really? Don't be so saucy.
September 29th, 2009 at 1:27 PM ^
Try to "catch up" on the pasta jokes!
September 29th, 2009 at 10:10 AM ^
That is hilarious. Nice find.
September 29th, 2009 at 10:10 AM ^
Is this a cousin of Fusilli Jerry?
September 29th, 2009 at 2:33 PM ^
Hopefully Chad Penne doesn't suffer the same fate...."It was a million to one shot Doc.....a million to one" (Frank Costanza after having Fusilli Jerry Lodged in his rectum).

Macaroni Midler
September 29th, 2009 at 10:11 AM ^
This is too funny. In college my roommates and I made a dish called "Chad Penne," which was a sort of chili-cheese-penne meal.
September 29th, 2009 at 10:14 AM ^
I was just about to post the same thing and you beat me to it! Guy was a QB in Michigan for four years and is only 1.5 years removed from campus. And they can't get his name right. And it's not a typo. The H key is nowhere near the P key on the keyboard.
September 29th, 2009 at 10:15 AM ^
Spellcheck run wild I would guess...
September 29th, 2009 at 10:21 AM ^
Yeah, probably the most likely answer.
September 29th, 2009 at 10:20 AM ^
Someone was hungry when they wrote the header.
September 29th, 2009 at 10:28 AM ^
Vermicelli Emilien will see some time at safety this weekend?
September 29th, 2009 at 11:15 AM ^
if Boubacar Risotto continues to struggle.
September 29th, 2009 at 10:33 AM ^
You'd have to have some pretty darn fat fingers if you accidentally hit a 'p' instead of an 'h'.
September 29th, 2009 at 11:53 AM ^
Is my favorite pasta.
September 29th, 2009 at 12:53 PM ^
I'll never forget his throws to Mario Manicottiham to put the dagger in Penn State. Rumor has it JoePa went cold turkey of pasta and stuck strictly to brains for several weeks.
September 29th, 2009 at 1:12 PM ^
K.C. Ricotta was my favorite Michigan kicker of the last 10 years, personally.
September 29th, 2009 at 1:20 PM ^
Even better if the pronunciation is slurred. In Italian penne is pronounced Pen-nay and means the pasta; pronounce it "peney"and it means Penis.
Italian waiters love asking American tourists if they want pene pasta...
September 29th, 2009 at 2:41 PM ^
I'll take the spinach alfredo.
September 29th, 2009 at 3:18 PM ^
they spell it correctly when I click on the link
