can't block five guys at once. I don't think he played great today, but when the rest of the line is such a shitshow one guy isn't going to make that big of a difference. Also the talking was going on from the start of the game on both sides.

Fewest rushing yards in the history of the program!  Just like the RR era, we keep setting the wrong kinds of records.

Physicalness gets you that... all those platitudes, and we have only gotten worse for it.

There are records and there is performance.

After Akron and UConn, the chorus was "BUT WE'RE STILL UNDEFEATED!"

This team is what it is.

It is the team that barely beat Akron. It is the team that barely beat UConn.

Two of the absolutely worst teams in D1

It is the team that lost to Penn State, who had only 65 (or something) scholarships (nobody has asked if they had only 50, would we have won?).

And it is the team that was blown out by Michigan State. While having a bye week to prepare this abortion of a game plan.

And this is only the beginning of the most difficult part of the schedule. This team is in for a world of butt hurt, particularly at the hands of Ohio State.

This team is worse than last year's. And last year's was worse than the previous year's.

I am not encouraged by the trend. At all.

There was actually good news to come out of this game.  Now that we know we won't win our division, there is no chance for us to lose twice to osu in the same season!  Yay!!

I am willing to give some of the staff more time, but if that doesn't get somebody fired I don't know what will. I am looking squarely at Funk for obvious reasons, the youth excuse on the o-line only goes so far when you look as horrid as they do upfront.

This coaching staff has hit rock bottom. Almost like the RR days re-lived! If we have a chance to grab Les Miles at the end of this season or next season we should. Hoke may not be up to it. But if we cannot get a big name coach we should let Hoke go through 2016, see if he can turn it around?

It shouldn't fly for this staff when it comes to how horrid the o-line is either. The o-line is literally as bad as the RR led defenses were, that is a sickening thought.

Have you noticed how the last two searches went? Our first two choices "bowed out", declined interest, said no in each case. Les Miles does not want the job. Harbough did not want the job. Schiano did not want the job. I forget who the guy was / guys were the overtures or "rumor-tures" were buzzing about before him. Miles again, but I think was another before RR. So before we fire another coach -- let's consider _realistically_ who may be his replacement and what his first fully matured full cohorts may do in the year or two to come. Personally, I think RR was done -- his fault or no, the forecast had little upside. I see more positive in the forecast for Hoke (& staff). Reasonable people may differ about that, but let's learn from past that we're probably not going to get that huge name guy you want & think is going to make everything perfect by showing up

There would be plenty of coaches that would take the job if we didnt care so fuckin much about being a "michigan man".. Dave Brandon is a fuckin joke too... Being a top tier program like uofm and paying sooo much for a game i expect fuckin excellence not garbage... Urban Meyer comes in and with the same players that went 6-6 the previous year he has managed to stay undefeated... Why? What do they have more?? Easy schedule? Bullshit tired of hearing about it.. They cheat?? Fuck it i rather cheat and enjoy watching some football than be goodie two shoes and SuCk biiig time like we have been..

I like Hoke, the man.  I remember watching his presser on MGoBlue and when he said "It's Michigan for Christ's sake!" I was, like, YEAH!  I went to Michigan, my dad went to Michigan and my daughter is about to graduate Michigan. My whole family bleeds blue. So we were psyched about the hire - finally a Michigan man!

But the truth is, he's not head coach material.  Winning at Ball State and SDSU is NOT the same as winning in the Big Ten.  We're recruiting all these "alleged" 4 and 5 stars, and this is how the O line plays?  This is how the D plays?  It pains me to say this, but Dantonio completely and thoroughly outcoached Hoke today.  This is one of the most embarrassing losses I've ever sat through.

WHAT IS THIS LOVE AFFAIR HE HAS WITH TOUSSAINT?!!!  Did he successfully pick up one blitz today?  Did he ever carry the ball with a sense of purpose?  Does he run a 4.9 40?!!

What a colossal waste of talent.  Unimaginative and completely predictable play calling. Uninspired defense.  At least our kickers made their FGs.

And I'm sorry but he looks like a total buffoon standing out there with a golf shirt on, no headset, out of touch with the 21st century.  You don't see Urb, Saban, Dantonio even, walking around without a headset on.  This isn't getting better anytime soon.  This sucks.

I dont understand this lately also, the same thing has been happening since Hoke has been the coach.. I understand he doesnt want crush these kids dreams and doesnt want to ruin their confidence BUT when u perform this bad like Tousaint has, why not put in Green? The same thing happened when Denard was around, no matter how bad he played Hoke would never pull him out
