Fitz's mouth picking up where Hart's left off...except without the wins
Didn't see this posted yet, but apparently Fitz is vocally continuing the "Little Brother" meme.

Toussaint had a modest 50 yards rushing in his only victory over MSU, so I'm not sure why he felt the need to say this.

I don't think it's a big deal either, but it's still pretty dumb. Aside from the "oh no, don't give them bulletin board material..." argument, it's just sort of classless, especially when you've lost 4 of the last 5.

I think you need to read his quotes before jumping on him. To me, and to be fair I was just reading the snippet quotes, he is just saying that Hart called them little brother and they took offense to it. I am not sure if that is groundbreaking or bulletin board material.

You're correct. This week has been dragging and I am dying for 3:30 on Saturday to be here already. M needs to kick MSU in their mouths (not literally) to shut them the hell up. I'm sick of their asshole fans thinking their program is elite, or at least being on the doorstep of elite. If we beat them again this year, they will go back to saying "I can't wait for basketball to start."

Thant is not dissing them that is talking about what Mike Hart said and how he feels MSU feels about it.

I hate that confident people crap statement not everybody operates the same way and if he wanted to express his confidence then he can you realize that there is not one way to express confidence.
I really feel that you and some others are starting to get passive and let MSU get in your brains becaue if you look back before the 4 year run they had how verbally confident were those Michigan teams vs MSU, very. Sometimes being verbal is a way to put confidence in younger teamates that have not been in the battle and let them know that we are confident that they are not the ones that run this series, WE do.

but Dantonio talks more shit than any coach I have ever seen. It is now seen as OK and "tough" when State talks shit(which they do an awful lot of) but "petty" or "scared" when Michigan does. Michigan cannot win the media battle. Even the so called balanced reporting around here twists everything that is said by anybody as Michigan somehow "whining" or some other derogatory conception of it. I am glad Fitz is talking and I am fine with what he said. Michigan quotes are being taken out of context and twisted around anyway, so Fitz just called them some bitches and gave everybody what they wanted without any context needed. Now run all over their asses Fitz.

Quattro dude, are you on drugs perhaps? He was explaining why MSU takes things so personal, and one of those reasons being that we called them little brother in the past, and what that implies. He is stating a fact to explain a current situation.
It's reading comprehension like yours that contributes to why politicians prefer to just lie than bank on telling the hard truth.

Don't just read the headline (with the quote out of context). He's recounting Hart's comment and how much that fired up the Sparties. Fitz is just saying how badly he wants to win this game.
