A very good slate of games tonight...

7:00 PM No. 8 Baylor at Kansas
8:00 PM Penn State at No. 4 Ohio State
10:30 PM No. 6 Stanford at No. 25 Oregon State

Also...Oklahoma/Texas Tech had a hour and a half delay so they're only in the 3rd quarter. However, they'll be switching the game to FOX News because the World Series at 7:30p.

Any rule that is put in place that comes with an automatic replay needs to be reconsidered.  Isn't that basically saying we are pretty sure we are going to get this wrong, a lot.  And the 15 yards that stand either way makes my brain hurt.  Imagine trying to explain it to someone watching football for the first time.

So after the the review it is concluded that there wasn't a foul, and the 15 yard penalty stands?

You would get a lot of confused looks.

You shouldn't be kicking out a player, these guys don't get paid...they only have 4 years to play football and the likelihood is that many only get 2 years to play after sitting and waiting for their chance.

To take a game away is ridiculous. Now if it's intentional, if it's blantant, then of course...toss the guy. But helmet to helmet contact is going to happen in football. Flag the guy and move on. Ejecting these kids is a f-ing joke.

Nice to see "youth" isn't an excuse for the UCLA line starting 3 true freshman on it. That OL has improved since the season started. I'm glad someone could do it.....

It's a joke. UCLA is starting 3 freshman Oline. VT had a freshman CB with 3 INTs.

It's football, at some point you have to shut up and play.

Makes me question our development a little bit...the fact that Green isn't doing much and Thomas has been virtually invisible concerns me. Ross has also been just "okay" this year.

I do like the way Bosch played, but it was Indiana.

The poor OL play is disturbing...I'm watching all of these games and no one (but Kansas) is struggling to run the ball like we have for most of this year.

doing this? If this were common place and a lot of teams were winning playing so many young players you guys might have a point. As we don't have any data that proves this I must go with UCLA being an outlier.

Btw, UM and UCLA have the same record.

Welp, the Ohio game is over. It's amazing how bad Penn State's defense looks when you don't run right into them at the LOS. What a miserable fucking loss we gave up at Happy Valley.

TD call by the ref there for ohio. Can't imagine what he thought he saw.... think he was just scared of the fans?

"TD! TD! Please don't hurt me!"

I think I read somewhere (Borges presser last year maybe?) that they only use about 13 different plays in a game. It seemed low then, and it seems low when I reiterate it now. But I think he fails to adjust based on the fact that he only uses a very small set of the overall plays in our offensive arsenal.

Can't compare PSU/OSU to PSU/Michigan.

But it doesn't mean the play calling in our game wasn't atrocious.

Don't think many of us will get over that game unless we beat Ohio twive and win the Rose Bowl. And how likely is that to happen?

PSU would have ruined our undefeated season, but even if we were undefeated this year...we weren't going to the NC game so just win the conference and win the Rose Bowl.

Look, we have our issues, I'm not denying that, but why does every gamewatch thread have to become hijacked into an all-purpose "Bitch about Michigan" thread?   Let's just watch these games and not obsess about the million things that our coaches could potentially be doing but aren't.

Kansas does not yet have 100 yards (85, to be exact), whereas Baylor has 500 yards. The Bears also have 20 first downs to 6 for the Jayhawks. Apparently, this is the Schematic Advantage merely studying Baylor, or so I assume. That, or it is Baylor simply underlining the sh*tshow that seems to be Kansas football lately.

....and it is 38-0 now. Wow.

He's always been inconsistent. That said, glass houses.

We should be the last to talk. Devin, when he has time and he's on...is a much better passer. Miller is the better runner and has an offense that exposes his skills.

Both are two of the top 7-8 most talented, maybe top 5 most talented QBs in the country. However, the inconsistencies don't put either as a top 7-8 QB in the country.
