Transcription is not up yet but thanks to mgovideo i watched it just now. I'm short on thoughts as usual but I am curious. How does one man sound confident in the teams weaknesses but act so moronically during a game? Sure he can call an okay game, sure we can sometimes execute, but overall as a body of work, i guess I'm missing something. He knows where the mistakes are, and sounds willing to adjust, but just hates the face he has to do so. Is his philosophy going the way of the dodo?

not a lot of football questions but is was somewhat funny. Out of all the people though I dont think Gallon would laugh at the other team. It probably isnt as bad as Gardner makes it but still.

I don't think Gardner was saying that Gallon mocks the other team, just that he laughs as he scores. It's not as if he's pointing and laughing at individual players. I see it more as how Denard used to smile as he played... it wasn't meant to mock anyone, it was as if he knew something that his opponents did not and the knowledge of that brought a smile to his face :-).

Will NEVER live that down in the locker room. If I was on their team I would ride them so hard on that, this is gold. Knowing these guys they can probably handle it but never go Nat King Cole in an interview unless you can blow it out

I am just seeing this and I probably woke someone up here laughing at that question. There was also one earer which wasn't quite as funny but got a great reply :

"When did you realize something special was happening?"

"When we won."

Gallon and Gardner's great chemistry and personalities come through even despite some of the questions. Actually, because of some of them - very funny, amiable duo there.

I enjoyed this interview, even though there went that many football questions. It is great to see the players really enjoying themselves this season, while still understanding their goals and the tradition behind Michigan football.

Plus I smiled almost the whole way throught the interview.

Thanks for posting

Far better interview than one that asks football questions because you always get canned responses to those questions.

This clip helps anyone who watches it appreciate and feel connected to these two guys who are pouring their heart and soul into representing the University we all love. I'd much rather watch this stuff that shows just how likeable these players are than listen to them give answers that we can all easily predict.

the great old-school song. (Wonder where they heard it--Nat Cole? Frank Sinatra?) These guys run a little deeper than your average OSU textbook-readin' football player.

...these guys have it. That is a QB I could block for and a WR who deserves the number he wears.

Here is to next weeks Gallonfest. Let the festivities begin.

But, the nugget I took away from it is that I love how both of them gave credit to the other and to the team.  Great role models, great teammates, and great guys.  I love to see that kind of attitude out of young people.

Great to see them laughing and comfortable with each other. The INT question was definitely awkward - "how come?"??? - but other than that I liked it. Happy to see they are still determined to win the B1G. After the Penn State game, Glenn Robinson tweeted something about the loss to Penn State being the best thing that happened to the team last basketball season. I know football and basketball are different, but how thrilling will it be if that ends up being true for this football team? After Akron and UConn, I kept asking myself, what is it going to take to get these guys to wake up? Maybe the Penn State loss did that. I loved Devin's Go Blue at the end too!
