Youth Football at the Big House

Submitted by pescadero on

This coming Saturday (10/26) the Washtenaw Junior Football Maize team will be playing the Washtenaw Junior Football Blue team in the Big House.

My son (lucky cuss) and his teammates on the Washtenaw Maize JV team will be going for an undefeated regular season against their cross town rivals.

Yep, DJFL.

They normally play at Saline HS, and they have the coolest helmets.

Also, what is the game time?  Should I scalp or do stubhub?  I have found that hotels are surprisingly cheap this weekend.  Should I tailgate at the Golf Course or do you think it will be closed after all the rain we are supposed to get?  Liquor or beer for the drink of choice for the day? Brats on the grill or go big with a pig roast?  I was thinking of bringing back the marshmellows or TP to the Big House, is this a good game to smuggle that in?  Might just smuggle in booze.

That's something you and your son will remember forever. My son played an 8th grade game at Western Michigan University's Waldo Stadium. But I'm thinking the Big House would be better!

C'mon Dave you can soak the parents at least $20 a head. After all they get to sit in the Big House and it costs a million bucks to open the doors.
