Bowl Game: Open Thread

If RR taught us anything, it's that crossing the 6 win threshold is still great. POSITIVE THOUGHTS!!! WOOO!

But seriously, what's your threshold of attending and/or guess of how UM ends up? Dream real matchup?

Didn't one of the national prognosticators say we would be 5-7? Muppets for proven-to-be-incorrect prognosticators who said things we hoped wouldn't be true but secretly worried about...

Our biggest competition in the Leaders division is a Nebraska team who has had just as many defensive issues as we have, and a Michigan State team who scored one touchdown against Purdue. Step off the ledge.

MSU can keep whatever incarnation of our offense that shows up that day in check. I'm no longer 100% confident our defense can keep MSU's offense to it's season averages. I am rightfully worried about Nov. 2nd.

The fact that this thread has been posted is illustrative of the condition of the program. This is Michigan. The 6 wins threshold should be inconsequential.

and 2-1 versus @NW, @Iowa, and OSU would likely put us in Indianapolis.

Nebraska, the host of the MSU/Nebraska game, is likely to lose one outside of the MSU game.

Come on...let's not be like that. "Well at least we are bowl eligible." Terrible way to think. This is Michigan.

...when they're playng to their potential, that's where they should be. I'm not lowering my expectations just because they've shit the bed since the ND game.

Well the only 2 ways I consider attending (which would still be tough to work out) would be if the bowl was before dec 26 or on jan 4/5 as I have tix for gli, alumni and winter classic.
