BRING IT!

Ya, this one's a little to screwed up. You just depicted a man, with a family, getting his head cut off and put on a spike in a backyard over a sport. Not very funny.
/Ok, the Bubble Screen part was pretty funny, just add something at the bottom showing that it was all a dream and Charlie's been playing to much GTA V.

Maybe ppl will calm down with all the vitriol towards Borges (doubtful)

The last panel was originally sketched with Borges still "x-eyed," as it were, and Glenn saying something along the lines of "Okay, is it fixed yet?" or something to that effect.
I wanted more of a punchline there, and something less grim. But yes, I should make it clear that I'm not at all in the FIRE BORGES camp and did this strip not to support such claims, but maybe ridicule it just a bit.

this one. It's one of the things I love about MGoBlog -- the criticism is often internally directed.
I think you surprised a few of us because your other work just seems so . . . wholesome. This piece was very edgy. Keep up the great work. These are getting better each week as you find your voice to go along with the great artwork and characters.

After your explanation, I fully understand, thank you.

You're depicting Borges' head being ripped off by a father and son and then put on a pitch fork and it's about the overreaction on the board and to ridicule the people in the fire Borges camp? This is indefensible, unjustifiable, unforgivable, and another other word that has that same meaning. This is trash and you're trash for posting it.

You do care otherwise you wouldn't have responded. Thanks for showing how you feel with your actions and for letting your words contradict you!

realize that he is kidding, right? It is a joke. You realize that nobody actually decapitated Al Borges? That Al Borges is alive and well.
October 18th, 2013 at 12:33 PM ^
My, aren't you sensitive. I thought it was appropriate given the boards behavior lately and the fact that it's almost Halloween. You should probably lock yourself in your home and not answer your door until November if this upsets you so badly.

You thinking that something is appropriate makes it appropriate? Okkkkk, got it! You want to make another point? My thinking that decapitation by a father and son on a man who calls plays in a game is vile means I shouldn't go outside or open my door for a couple weeks? OKKKKKKKKK, GOT IT! Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb.

Borges coming back to life in the last frame scared Glenn's hair from gray to white!
October 18th, 2013 at 9:14 AM ^
Not worth it. If the strip was going to go all South Park I just maybe would have eased into by not depicting a real person's decapitated head.

Settle down. it is a damn comic strip. You're acting like this is being paid for by the school or something. Artists have the right to do whatever they want. A couple things here...
1. You guys, this board, have been calling for his head all week. For a man to be fired, in real life. "With a family."
2. He is still alive at the end.
3. It's October, Halloween, people put heads on stakes (pitchforks) all month long, and you drive by the house and say, "oh how nice."
Keep up the great work Six Zero. Everyone else take a Xanax.

...this fanbase and this readership would see the dark humor for what it is. A send up of those who want Borge's metaphoric head using a literal (as much as a drawing is literal) head to show the ridiculousness of the concept.
I am disappoint.

IT"S A COMIC STRIP!! Six Zero didn't actually cut off Borges's head, or call for anyone to physically cut off Borges's head. It's a metaphor: an object, activity, or idea that is used as a symbol of something else (merriam-webster.com).
