How about Tom Brady? 1:13 left and led an 80 yard drive to thump the Saints! Hey, there is one positive thing with Michigan Football.... kinda......... ok it does not help the sheer numbness that has been pumped threw my veins since last night..

Oh well... Go Brady!

Jeebus, do you really need to put the mace can 2mm from the dude's eye?

I'm sure he deserved it, but what ever happened to just tackling a dude?  Especially with other people in range of that shit.

I believe this is the same "lively" dude who attended the UConn game and sported a temporary Michigan football helmet tatoo on his forehead. It's plausible a single "fan" visited both hostile stadiums anyway, and the resemblance seems clear enough.

During the ND game, there was an Irish counterpart who was completely obnoxious and unfortunately sat directly in front of me (50 yd line, 6th row). He struck a lady next to him but she calmed him down a tad. When he later stood up on his bleacher and popped me in the forehead, I undertook appropriate actions that resulted in his leaving without arrest.

I hope the Penn State dude receives a court date and stadium ban. That obnoxious treatment is not what we pay for.

EDIT:  "Kewl story bro."  Beat ya to it.

What are the possibilities that this guy was being a gigantic asshole and/or resisting the cops, even when cuffed?

My guess: high.

Doesn't mean it isn't (likely) unreasonable force, but if they're macing him even with the cuffs, it's probable he did something wrong.

EDIT: Just saw the Deadspin update. Moral of the story: Don't be an asshole. Especially in an opposing stadium.

After reading the Deadspin article, I realized that I had made the same mistake one of the commenters there did in that I first thought that this guy was macing himself, which would have been interesting and admittedly, something I might have been tempted to do to myself throughout overtime last night.
