Not sure #5 ought to be celebrated - a) the guy to the first down, and b) that's probably an ejection for targeting.

Now Branch crushing Morelli I understand, since that's an iconic photo an it was a form tackle. Great throw by Morelli in the face of that.

The pass completion to Woodson in the '97 game stands out, think it was a slant pattern.  That was #1 for me, beating out the '05 ending.  On the other side of the ledger in terms of what the outcome was, but still memorable, was the Penn State punt block in '96.

I don't agree with the five-yard run by Tom. I mean, obviously that was an important play considering it was a touchdown, but it was just "meh" for me on the list. That Wheatley run was just downright dirty though.

EDIT: That play in 2005 with one second left always makes me giggle. God that was perfect.

Great compilation! The '05 86 = 1 game was my sophomore year in the band. I remember it got so quiet in the stadium when the pass was in the air you could hear it thump into Manningham's chest.

both the manningham and perry touchdowns were watched while I sat in the bar (on the clock) as the whole bar shut down to see the end of the game...

to this day when I think of my time at webers I think of penn state...

We have a long way to go on D to get back to the level of play in the Carr era. Foote, Dhani, Gold, Hall, Williams, Sword, Renes, Hopson, even Branch and that whole crew. I was truly blesses to have grown up watching that era. It is the standard to which i measure UofM Football. And dont even get me started on the Atrain, Perry, Terrell, Walker, Tuman, Hutch, Mo Williams, man we were stacked, Askew...man I loved those teams.

These are all great! The most memorial Michigan-PSU game that I attended was when Mallett filled in for Henne in 2007. Hart got the ball something like 50 times and Mallett ran in for a score in the corner of the endzone I was sitting in.

I know, cool story, bro... but that was a big game. It got Michigan back to .500 and really got their season back to respectable after the App.St. debacle and Oregon game.

game was to me a huge memory. Glen Steele was deep in the Penn State backfield and crushed their QB while he was still trying to carryout a fake end around. Michigan came to play that day!

awesome work.  any chance in the future you could put the year on the video?  also, it's weird to see that joepa had black hair in some of those clips. one thing that didn't change was how pissed he was in every clip. ha!

The Daydrion Taylor hit should be number one IMO. Not that it should be "celebrated" per se. But that play was huge for that game, and for those players careers. Both fan bases remember that play like it was yesterday. When you have an entire special based on one tackle, idk how it isn't number one.
