OK, Which one of you did this?

I was expecting a bare bone website, so the site is pretty nifty. I like the caveat of "* by 2012," not just this year.
I guess we get stuff like this if we have the most ballyhooed frosh player in the nation.
It looks like the website was done by a guy named Will...

I would guess Will. Is that you?
It does say that it is "tongue in cheek" humor on its "About" page.
Anyway, I didn't read any of it (just a little too early for my tastes), but the site is, stylistically, quite slick.

your picture is pure evil. the zoom and the angle make it much, much worse. it would scare children.
Well played.

That tilting is called a canted, or Dutch, angle. It is used to imply that things are off, generally creating a mood of tension, creepiness, disorientation, unease.

A thousand free drinks if we can find the site owner and get him to reference the FOURTHCIER somewhere.
Side note - did anyone else see Kordell Stewart mention him among possible Heisman candidates in the pre-game before the PSU game tonight? His comment was met with a speedy 'he doesn't have the numbers to back him up' reply.
September 26th, 2009 at 9:23 PM ^
Yeah . . . Forcier isn't going to win the Heisman, at least not this year. But I couldn't care less about individual awards as long as we keep winning.

I'm guessing that Tate set it up.

The headline right now on ESPN is "Tebow Taken Out." Glad to see that ESPN shits its collective pants over Tebow getting his bell rung. I am so sick of Tebow. Tomorrow, I fully expect ESPN to proclaim: "On the third day, Tebow expected to rise from the dead." Ugh.
September 26th, 2009 at 9:43 PM ^
I love that when good role models come along such as Tebow, people end up taking shots at them whenever possible.
By all accounts, Tebow is a great guy, to go along with being a good football player. If any publication or news channel wants to make him their poster boy, I'm all for it. I'd much rather see/read/hear about him than Chad Johnson, Terrell Owens, Pacman Jones, Michael Vick, etc.
September 26th, 2009 at 9:47 PM ^
His name is Chad Ochocinco!!
A little respect please.
September 26th, 2009 at 10:09 PM ^
I would respect it if "Ochocinco" referred to the number of ancestors he has named Chad. But since it's just his jersey number, I don't care enough to get it right.

If it was as you said he would be ochoquatro.

I was expecting this article called "Bringing college sports indoors for home decor" about a fan down here with a UM basketball court in his yard. I was wondering if he was an mgoblog participant:

it was me, i'm glad some people can see the tongue in cheek aspect of the thing, in the about page I say I expect to see Tate invited to New York at least once in his 4 years here. Glad you guys like the look of the site. I always see these sites popping up when someone is a finalist and thought i'd get ahead of the curve on this one.
