If you've ever watched basketball at the NBA level you would realize that many PG's play off the ball. I could name Mo Williams, Chalmers, George Hill, whoever is playing with Kobe, and the list goes on. PG just means you bring the ball up the court most of the time. There are many talented wings that run the offense just as much if not more than the PG's do. That's not always a knock on the PG, that's usually because the wing is a good facilitator.

Of course, points play off the ball from time-to-time--hence my example of Durant with 8 assists.  The comment suggested Burke was largely playing off the ball--without having watched the game.  He wasn't.  Further, Hayward ain't Durant, Kobe or LeBron.  And, finally, I'd be happy to compare NBA watching time--and real basketball experience--with you.
