Late afternoon/evening games Open Thread

Submitted by Avant's Hands on

Couple of afternoon games are still finishing up and then two of our rivals play what should be interesting games this evening. In Knoxville, Tennessee has just tied Georgia 24-24 in the 4th. And Okie St. just jumped back in front of Kansas St by 1 late in the game.

Impressive tackle from a WR on that fake punt attempt.  When Ohio is trying a fake punt against you you've got them by the balls.  Now just tighten the grip.

Good half by NW, but they have left points out there as well. Up 7 doesn't feel like it's good enough to me, especially how they played

That last drive puts Baylor at 496 total yards, through a quarter and a half. The all-time record for a game is 1,026.

Why is always during West Virginia games that I find myself looking this stuff up?

NW has left some points on the field, but the punt block TD is just as glaring.  That's 7 freebies right there.  Kind of crazy to think NW is shooting themselves in the foot or they might be up 28-6ish.

Wondering if Guiton gets a look in 2nd half here.  Not early in 2nd half but if this continues (6 offensive points) the pressure increases by turn of the quarter.

In any case, I really hope this holds up.  ohio is WAY overdue for a loss.  To those that are worried about our standings in the legends division, we control our own destiny.  Let us worry about taking care of business when the time comes.  But for now, beat ohio

Baylor has scored 69, 70, and 70 in their first three games (against MAC level teams). They have 42 in the first half so far against West Virginia.

Edit: As i posted this Baylor scored again.  49 in the first half.
