Moosman Snaps

Submitted by speakeasy on
I'm all for heads up football and players thinking outside the box to help the team. That being said, I think I may prefer Moosman be a little more judicious in his snapping of the ball when he thinks IU is offsides. It kept one drive going in the 1st half, but that last one was a killer. It took us from 3rd and 4 to 4th and 26. Thank god Zoltan saved the day.

I think the tackles should move not the center snapping the ball. Its a heads up play but he does it he needs to get the ball up. Both times they have been at the ankles of the QB

Well, I don't think we could have more mistakes in a game and still come out on top. Even if they were a 3-0 against questionable opponents, they were a team that knows how to win. This game reminded me a lot of Wisconsin last year. I'm all for bend but don't break, but I'm not sure how much of this my heart can take. WOW GO BLUE FORCIER=MANCHILD

right now. Moosman is good and will figure it out. I would bet if you made a change it would happen again next week. Outside of Robinson mishandling the one snap, all that they need is a very simple adjustment of don't snap the ball trying to get the offsides flag. He doesn't do that, this thread doesn't exist.

For Moose's sake, I am really glad UM won this game, because I wouldn't have liked to read all of the smarmy "moose turned into a goat" comments that the MSM would have made.
