I got my wish, for the most part
September 29th, 2013 at 8:52 PM ^
But oh well. I am hoping the cold opening is a flash-back scene of Walt leaving Grey Matter.
September 29th, 2013 at 8:57 PM ^
I've been trying to think of how this bitch is gonna end all week. And I can honestly say not one of us has a fucking clue. I cannot wait. It's gonna be nuts.

Here we go!!!
September 29th, 2013 at 9:05 PM ^
My prediction: Flynn has waffles and Badger films his star trek script about a pie eating contest.
September 29th, 2013 at 9:15 PM ^
Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh.... I'm beyond excited for this... Walter has some iconic lines in this show and that line is going to be one of them!
September 29th, 2013 at 9:17 PM ^
Reminded me of Crocodile Dundee.
September 29th, 2013 at 9:19 PM ^
Where we're going, we don't need any roads
September 29th, 2013 at 9:26 PM ^
It's a good thing they added 15 minutes to pump it full of commercials.
September 29th, 2013 at 9:36 PM ^
Are you right

Opening shot was Detroit
September 29th, 2013 at 9:38 PM ^
Filmed in Detroit. My friend that works for Quicken Loans watched some of the filming outside his office window.
September 29th, 2013 at 9:39 PM ^
And Aaron Paul's career is over.

I watched the how to embed video and could not hear sound so I went off what i could see. I am not sure I did this correct? If I did not someone who is more skilled may proceed. Also anyone can google 'Breaking Bad + Battle Creek, MI". I am a resident of Battle Creek and found out this info just the other day and then saw this thread and thought I would throw this out to you all! Go Blue!

It will be interesting to see what type of show Gilligan can wright for a major network. I just can't see his style playing on CBS. I hope it's good but I am not holding my breath.

if this was super predictable, or the collective minds of mgoblog are just that good.
September 29th, 2013 at 10:15 PM ^
too clean and tidy, especially for this show.
September 29th, 2013 at 11:25 PM ^
I agree. Kind of a cop out ending. I guess it is appropriate that a show about a chemistry teacher ended so formulaically.
September 29th, 2013 at 10:15 PM ^
Fantastic way to end a tv show!!!! Loved it!
September 29th, 2013 at 10:15 PM ^
I was in the right ballpark
September 29th, 2013 at 10:18 PM ^
And the greatest TV show in the history of the universe is laid to rest.
September 29th, 2013 at 10:50 PM ^
havent seen an episode but if it is really better than wire, sopranos, seinfeld, etc then i would be absolutely fucking shocked. time to upgrade your tv shows, kid.
September 29th, 2013 at 11:00 PM ^
way to be a demeaning shithead
September 29th, 2013 at 11:03 PM ^
The hypocrisy, it burns.
September 29th, 2013 at 11:07 PM ^
I've seen all those shows, kid. You can't compare this type of show to Seinfeld. And The Wire was the greatest show ever for me until this season of Breaking Bad. Haters gonna hate. Maybe give it a shot if mommy lets you watch one day, kid.
September 29th, 2013 at 11:09 PM ^
It's not better than The Soprano's but it's not all that far off either.
Time to get to watching some good newer shows, kid.
September 30th, 2013 at 9:03 AM ^
No way it is better than Game of Thrones. There, are you happy?
September 29th, 2013 at 11:21 PM ^
But this was better, in my opinion, and not a tough call at that. Plus, the balls that it takes to actually write a fitting ending (as opposed to just a final episode) to an epic tale is something more writers ought to be willing to do.
September 29th, 2013 at 11:25 PM ^
If you think Seinfeld is good, you'll shit your diaper, kid.
September 30th, 2013 at 1:56 AM ^
Here's punching you in the face, kid.
September 30th, 2013 at 3:01 AM ^
Breaking Bad is without a doubt one of the greatest television shows of all time.
The fact that you haven't seen a single episode tells me all I need to know about your taste in television.
The Wire is my all time favorite show.
Seinfeld is good for what it was but if you think it's in the running for greatest show of all time, I don't know what to tell you, but you're just horribly mislead.
The Sopranos was great for what it was and for its day, but it has not aged well.
Honestly, The Sopranos' legacy will be that it ushered in the golden era of television programming we're currently experiencing, but it has been surpassed by quite a few different shows, in case you haven't been paying attention (which is abundantly clear).
September 30th, 2013 at 8:45 AM ^
Based on your proclamations it sounds like your one of those guys who says "newest thing" is way better than "older thing" and your stupid if you dont think like I do.
September 30th, 2013 at 5:21 AM ^
you read this far down & ain't never seen an episode?!
Time to update ur "to-do list" kid!
September 30th, 2013 at 9:04 AM ^
Hard not to pay attention when it is all the fucking world is talking about on a Sunday night, kid.
To all of the other people that replied in this thread and disagreed with me, I am sorry that your poor baby TV show is now over and it was the best thing your life had going for it the last how-many-ever-years. Boo fucking hoo.
September 30th, 2013 at 12:08 PM ^
You have to be a troll. Your posts are just dripping with irony. Criticising a show you've never seen is pretty damn juvenile.
September 30th, 2013 at 12:16 PM ^
Rager's a troll. Ignore him.

Welcome back, BITCH!

September 29th, 2013 at 10:18 PM ^
Ending way to predictable. Would love to see him get away some how I know a lot of people didn't want it but I did.
September 29th, 2013 at 10:18 PM ^
I didn't see Walt using Grey Matter folks to get Jr. the money.
September 29th, 2013 at 10:20 PM ^
GREAT STUFF
September 29th, 2013 at 10:24 PM ^
Good ending, but not great ... but it'll do.
The "Jesse riding off into the sunset" bit bothers me ... he's a wanted man and he has no money. I'm not sure how that works out in the real world.
Still, I've watched Breaking Bad since the very first episode. I will miss it.
Good TV is hard to find ... and when the good goes dark, there's not much to light the room.
September 29th, 2013 at 10:28 PM ^
No one knows both cops are dead that have a clue he is free and clear
September 29th, 2013 at 10:43 PM ^
Lydia mentioned to Todd that "they're looking for him" when Todd mentioned Pinkman was helping with the cooking. It's also reasonable to assume Marie (Hank's widow) would have mentioned Pinkman since she saw him in the house.
That might not make him "wanted" (poor choice of words on my part) ... but certainly a "person of interest."
Still, a minor point ... dramatic effect realized ... release and freedom.
