It's football. 2-3 plays go differently (eg hit open Funchess instead of pick 1) and we are all underwhelmed but happy. Get some momentum early and they will be fine....give up momentum early and....

Devin looks like he is becoming impatient and starting to press. we need a nice drive to open the half, fitz has to lead the charge, this will help gardner settle down. you can bet hoke is ripping this team a new ass right now. Has to start with fitz, they are double teaming gallon, which is what most teams will start to do, the other receivers need to get open...currently this isn't happening. lot of man to man, look for some routes to rb out of backfield.

Sticking by this statement. If I'm wrong, find me at the end of the season and I'll admit I was wrong. This isn't even an emotional statement, this team just isn't very good. Nebraska, Northwestern, and OSU could hang 50 on this team easily.

After calming the fuck down its not the end of world, there is still a second half and hopefully Hoke and Co have gotten onto these guys and the thought off losing to a MAC school at home has given Gardner and Co a fire in there belly to get back into play like they can.

We should win this game as Akron for whatever reason hasn't broken through despite ample number of opportunity to do so.

I was hoping Devin would sleep off his Skeeps hangover at halftime.  Guess not.  Maybe this shows him that drinking the night before a game is not a good thing.  Oh, and another great throw.

The thing is we are young at a lot of positions, so I expect that of the interior o-line, guys like Bolden, Ross, Wilson, Pipkins, Wormley, Godin, Charlton, Lewis, etc. to make mistakes. But, I don't expect Gardner who is a junior, a smart guy, and a talented player to make this many mistakes and not be able to fix it after the half.  It's real early in the season, but this is troubling that the he can't seem to shake the turnovers.
