Most of us will be watching the Lions play the Vikings. The Lions are driving. Bush is looking good so far. It should be interesting to see how he works in this offense. Predictions for Detroit this year?
I say 8-8.
EDIT: Classic Lions. Ruined that first drive.

This game is ridiculous

The Lions are stil the stupidest fucking team ever.

Hire Bill Belichick
September 8th, 2013 at 2:23 PM ^
He's seen us play enough the last few years.

Horrible decision by Ponder. Guess he didint watch last nights game.
September 8th, 2013 at 2:23 PM ^
Just give the ball to Megatron or Bush every play for the rest of the game
September 8th, 2013 at 2:25 PM ^
wow. Will it ever change?
September 8th, 2013 at 2:25 PM ^
Sam every night he is a winner regardless every Sunday and everyday of the week.

These guys are such goobers! Walk to the line of scrimmage, don't spike the football, and then fumble. Holy mother of god.
September 8th, 2013 at 2:30 PM ^
looked like a TD

Watching the Lions:
Although this is just hilarious
September 8th, 2013 at 2:31 PM ^
Good god at least they got that right
September 8th, 2013 at 2:32 PM ^
Good. I hate the Lions but Iike Joique Bell and root for him.
September 8th, 2013 at 2:33 PM ^
I'm calling the Lions to allow a kickoff return touchdown right now.
September 8th, 2013 at 2:37 PM ^
On the brightside, The Emperor is booming 'em.
September 8th, 2013 at 2:38 PM ^
Did anybody see that Tennessee player safety himself? hahaha
September 8th, 2013 at 2:38 PM ^
Hemingway sighting on CBS' halftime show
September 8th, 2013 at 2:48 PM ^
The Lions had the ball for nearly 21 minutes out of the 30 minutes of first half play, had slightly more than twice as many first downs as Minnesota (16 to 7) and have put up almost 100 yards more of offense than Minnesota. The result, as you know, is that they are down by one point.
Why does it not shock me?
September 8th, 2013 at 2:54 PM ^
Fairley looks like a high level DT...time to trade Suh for something worthwhile that doesnt get penalized.
September 8th, 2013 at 2:55 PM ^
Any one else see Terrelle Pryor knock over that old man on the sideline when he dove for the first down?
Meanie...

Ridiculously bad luck by lions on calls. They are playing against the refs, a history of bad, and a lot of doubters. This lions team has promise though. Say what you will about Schwartz, but he has a decent product out there. Last year, had they been able to finish drives, they would've had a decent record. This year, it seems that they've turned the corner with a guy like Reggie Bush.
September 8th, 2013 at 3:14 PM ^
with you. The Lions still have not broken free of their committment to the ridiculous.
September 8th, 2013 at 3:17 PM ^
Nice!
September 8th, 2013 at 3:28 PM ^
that was a fantastic catch
September 8th, 2013 at 3:29 PM ^
Refs got that challenge right, his arm was under the ball.
September 8th, 2013 at 3:30 PM ^
another questionable Schwartz decision
September 8th, 2013 at 3:34 PM ^
at challenges.
September 8th, 2013 at 3:47 PM ^
Reggie Bush. Pretty good.
September 8th, 2013 at 3:48 PM ^
That is all
September 8th, 2013 at 3:49 PM ^
Vikings with roughing the passer! Automatic first down Detroit!
September 8th, 2013 at 3:52 PM ^
Those Jags sure do have an offense, huh?
September 8th, 2013 at 3:52 PM ^
Baha this drive is ridiculous. PI on the Vikings to keep the drive alive. Gotta capitalize on this fortuitous turn of events.

UDFA. Pettigrew replacement after this year.
September 8th, 2013 at 5:13 PM ^
Scheffler has done nothing to show that he is a viable TE. Pettigrew at least has the blocking skills to stick.
September 8th, 2013 at 4:06 PM ^
The Lions have one. The Vikings do not.
September 8th, 2013 at 4:37 PM ^
I don't want to omake a new thread about it, but Texas fired their DC and will supposedly replace him with Gerg.
No lie.
GERG.
September 8th, 2013 at 5:20 PM ^
Wow. Well now we will really find out if it was GERG....or Rich Rod's assistants that caused that defense to suck so badly. Perhaps the answer to that question is both. Anyway, Texas has some talent there for him to work with.

Packers and 49ers tied 14-14 at the half. Some great defense by both squads right now although the Packers offense with 2 turnovers hasn't really helped itself out. 49ers haven't capitalized off of them either. Looking forward to an awesome 2nd half GO PACK!
