The Jeremy Gallon - ND Thread

Submitted by Blazefire on

Why the heck isn't there a Gallon thread already?! Seriously, guys! We don't win this game without His Cloakedness, Lord Gallon.

8 catches for 184 yards! That is 6th on the all time record list, and number one is Roundtree's 2010 3OT Illinois Off-FEST, that that one doesn't count. He was 5 yards shy, FIVE yards shy of Bralonfest, in REGULATION!

Not to mention I'm pretty sure he's now an "Arrest On Sight" target in South Bend, something akin to Rambo. He's given us more highlights and holy crap moments against ND than any one player, heck, and 5 players, has the right to.

In conclusion, I give you this:

Haven't seen a WR performance as dominant as his since Edwards and Manningham... Has such great playmaking ability... Hats off to Chesson as well for that nasty block on Gallon's first touchdown.

Gallon played great tonight. His chemistry with Gardner really showed tonight. He's turning out to be a true #1 WR this year which surprises me. Not to be negative Nancy but I'm curious to see who Gardner's 2nd option is when gallon is locked down by a stud corner (i.e. Roby). No other WR or TE stepped up. I'm looking at you Funchess.

I think Borges is going to look at the film with Gardner and tell him he needs to utilize Funchess not necessarily more, but better.  He didn't give the ball enough air when he was throwing his way, which took away his advantage.  He was up against a guy half a foot shorter than him a lot of the time.  Those passes should be ten feet in the air, not at his chest.

Gardner, Gallon, and Gardner-to-Gallon had a major coming out party tonight. Can't wait to see what those two have in store for us going forward as presumably our 2nd toughest game is now behind us.

16-0 at home under Brady. Unbelievable
