September 7th, 2013 at 12:03 PM ^
Or 12:30 starts! (weather delay - 2 for 2 for Sparty!) p.s. how bad is Sparty's reputation when they were bumped from ESPN2 earlier this week for Illinois....
September 7th, 2013 at 12:02 PM ^
Would love for Miami to get the win here. Screw the SEC
September 7th, 2013 at 12:02 PM ^
In related news, Lee Corso puts on a green hat, holds a chicken and picks Notre Dame to win because la de da la de da la de da de do fum fum.

How many fights in the Florida/Miami game?
September 7th, 2013 at 12:06 PM ^
Or you can watch this to spend some time...
September 7th, 2013 at 12:07 PM ^
I would like to see Miami to get back to how they used to be talent wise - was a pretty elite program for 2 decades but really fallen off here the past 10.
September 7th, 2013 at 12:08 PM ^
Apocalypse imminent: Rod Gilmore just advocated going for a 4th and 5.
September 7th, 2013 at 12:09 PM ^
Expecting Michigan to be down an offensive player today, affecting depth. This one's not a complete surprise.
Nothing definite, but I wouldn't be surprised if Quinton Washington didn't play much, if at all, tonight.
September 7th, 2013 at 12:13 PM ^
Offensive player has got to be Reynolds.
September 7th, 2013 at 12:15 PM ^
Only offensive players to get injured were Reynolds, Funchess, and Johnson so yeah if it's not Reynolds, I'd guess Funchess but Hoke said that was just a cramp.
WR depth not so good right now. Gallon, Chesson, Dileo, ?. Not sure what WR will step up in Reynolds presumed absence...I guess Jackson (read:no one)
September 7th, 2013 at 12:31 PM ^
Injuries don't only happen in games. Someone could have gotten hurt during practice.
September 7th, 2013 at 12:16 PM ^
Borton has said that it is not Reynolds. Fuck.
September 7th, 2013 at 12:20 PM ^
I have no clue what else would not be "a complete surprise"
September 7th, 2013 at 12:28 PM ^
September 7th, 2013 at 12:30 PM ^
this reply from Brian makes me think that Q is hurt not just out due to nickle formation tongiht.
Don't panic: Michigan's going to be in the nickel for most of the game anyway, so Pipkins should be able to pick up the slack.

September 7th, 2013 at 12:14 PM ^
Hopefully the weather clears out before our game tonight
September 7th, 2013 at 12:44 PM ^
I hope you mean lightning in the area because even my 8 year old daughter plays soccer games in the rain. (& snow & gale-force winds & locust plagues)
September 7th, 2013 at 12:14 PM ^
Duke Johnson is a stud!
September 7th, 2013 at 12:16 PM ^
Losing Q Wash would be a huge blow for tonight. Cant afford him to miss this game.
September 7th, 2013 at 12:20 PM ^
if he can't play here is to hoping Pipkins steps up big while he is in, but either way I assume we will be in nickle for most of the night without a Nose at all
September 7th, 2013 at 12:20 PM ^
I will never understand why teams like Eastern attempt 45 yd FGs against teams like PSU on a 4th and 3. Take a chance for God's sake.
September 7th, 2013 at 12:23 PM ^
Gotta remember English learned that you never go for it on 4th, I suprised he didn't punt actually.
September 7th, 2013 at 12:40 PM ^
it's the all important 2 score lead at the end of the 1st qtr
September 7th, 2013 at 12:23 PM ^
Knee still acting up?
September 7th, 2013 at 12:25 PM ^
Michigan State starting Connor Cook. Maxwell riding the pine.
September 7th, 2013 at 12:37 PM ^
Based on the weather delays 2 weeks in a row, even God doesn't want to see MSU's offense
September 7th, 2013 at 12:27 PM ^
Funchess is going to have a huge day against PSU based on the first quarter here.

September 7th, 2013 at 12:34 PM ^
So I have DIRECTV. They are showing the Miami/UF game on ESPN and on the guide it says MSU?South Florida on ESPNU. Well, ESPN is doing to Goal Line program on the U instead. Oh, Sparty. How irrelevant you are.
September 7th, 2013 at 12:37 PM ^
the game is in a storm delay....
September 7th, 2013 at 12:41 PM ^
You just had to ruin my fun...
September 7th, 2013 at 12:39 PM ^
MSU is in a weather delay.
September 7th, 2013 at 12:35 PM ^
Touchdown Florida, but they are stopped on a two point conversion. I love seeing teams get stuffed on those dumb conversion attempts.
September 7th, 2013 at 1:03 PM ^
Other than Oregon (because they score at will anyway and seem to almost always convert the two point conversion), I hate it when coaches do that shit. The two point conversion should only be used when it is needed, which is only in the fourth quarter. Even when the score is something like 11-9...a team scores a TD to make it 11-9 (in a quarter other than the fourth), but they go for the two to tie it. No, that is a horrible decision. Take as many easy points as you can and kick the damned extra point.

September 7th, 2013 at 12:39 PM ^
Watchimg him play...Seantral Henderson looks lazy. Can't believe he was #1 out of HS.
September 7th, 2013 at 12:40 PM ^
Even though the play is under review now, it would somehow figure historically that a blitz brought on by Eastern Michigan's defense would result in a 1st and goal for the other team.
Also, it takes about half of the Eastern defense to stop Zach Zwinak, it seems. That obviously isn't going to end well for the Eagles.
September 7th, 2013 at 12:43 PM ^
Zwinak did drag about half of Eastern accross the goal line there.
