The announcers in the Wiscy-UMass game just said Wisconsin's playcall is vintage Big 10/Wisconsin football.  Considering that means a mediocre team beating the crap out of a cupcake, I'm not sure how proud I'd be.

I just don't get the 2-point conversion calls.  I mean, at some point you are just trying to act tough about being able to score against a horrible MAC team.  I mean, Alabama could go for 2 every time if they wanted to as well; they don't because they don't have anything to prove.  It feels like Meyer thinks he needs to win every game by 50 points because everyone knows how crappy this schedule is and how they'll be perceived competing for a title.

Urban sure knows how to play the political end of the college poll game.  Most folks are only going to look at the score anyway and he's going to make sure it's as high as possible.

I have no problem going for two early in a game. If you can't stop someone its your own problem. Now if OSU goes for two when they are up by forty, that is a different story.

Did anyone else notice that OSU's kickoff formation is weird? The coverage team is lining up very close to the kicker. Buffalo seems to have a very hard time blocking anybody to set up a return (although that could just be the caliber of the competition).

Sad for Buffalo. The Buffalo football players were staying at the hotel I had my wedding for their football camp. I told a few of their players to beat the Buckeyes. They seemed really excited and hopeful.

Tuning in late because I am working for the next few hours, but I take it Ohio State is running 2-point conversions at the end of TD drives because they can against Buffalo.

Braxton Miller is 7/7 for 103 yards passing, and is averaging 14 YPC right now. I am sure Ohio State fans will take this as validation of something, but it's difficult to get much validation from playing and mauling Buffalo, I would think.

Every mediocre throwing QB has a couple of games like this where the coaches use overmatched squads to show the guy can pass as well as run.  I hate to say it, Denard had a couple of those games too, though certainly not to this extent.  But Miller still doesn't look that good throwing the ball; it just is really easy when the WR is 10 yards open.
