Olaniyan (Aramide, Not C.J.) Decommits

Submitted by teldar on
News on Rivals' main football recruiting page has Olaniyan decommitting from Duke, officially. This following extremely positive comments about having something to discuss with his parents after being in the Big House for the ND game. Link to the (pay) article if the headline is not longer on the front page. http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/barrier_noentry.asp?ReturnTo=&sid=…

Here's thing it wasn't on the first few pages it happened today, good enough. I love this blog but I don't spend every five minutes I got value from this post and I am sure others did too.

Gotta love this. Aramide is a stud. Hopefully we will have a commitment from him soon. Now we need Cullen Christan to commit and things will be looking up for the D. With Marvin Robinson coming in next year our d is gonna be young but these guys are all playmakers on the defensive side of the ball. I still want to see Justin Turner out there. The kid was the Defensive MVP of the Army All American game. On talent alone he's got to be as good as Cissoko. He's 6'2 and runs a 4.4! It would have been interesting to see him matched up with Floyd. D. Warren was talkin him up. Hopefully he can get some more reps. GO BLUE!!!!

+1 for your first post. I agree it would have been huge to see JT out there against Notre Dames offense, but I guess he wasn't quite ready. Next year my friend. Next year we're gonna need some serious play from our defense to contain the Irish in South Bend. Here's to hoping Aramide and C.C. commit to Michigan in the very near future.

I'm a member at the Scout site (GoBlueWolverine) and have heard conflicting information on our prospects re: A. Olaniyan. One insider states that we are currently 4th for AO, while another insider states that we are in excellent shape. Make of that what you will...
