Not surprising. I know where he's from.
August 19th, 2013 at 11:07 PM ^
This comment doesn't make sense. Richmond?
August 19th, 2013 at 11:10 PM ^
Yeah but just more specifically the high school and what goes on around it.
August 19th, 2013 at 11:20 PM ^
I can't neg you so..... Cool story hansel.
August 20th, 2013 at 8:58 AM ^
Boooooo. Hisssssss.
That's a fairly enormous and somewhat inapporpriate generalization.
August 20th, 2013 at 10:38 AM ^
Well, as long as we have concrete evidence such as "he went to this HS" and "some people sell drugs around there 15 years ago", why not share them, anonymously, with the Internet.
August 19th, 2013 at 11:29 PM ^
...I am not a drug dealer.
August 19th, 2013 at 11:43 PM ^
Exactly what a drug dealer from Richmond would say. I'm watching you.
August 19th, 2013 at 11:52 PM ^
And I'm a drug dealer but I'm not from Richmond... Diagnose that statement smarty pants. Do I deal drugs? Am I from Richmond?
August 19th, 2013 at 11:55 PM ^
If I had to guess I'd say you sell drugs while listening to terrible cover bands...
August 20th, 2013 at 8:21 AM ^
and he deals whippetts (sp?) to middle schoolers.
August 19th, 2013 at 11:52 PM ^
How much for a quarter?
August 20th, 2013 at 12:24 AM ^
I am so not cool.
August 20th, 2013 at 12:12 PM ^
A quarter of what, oregeno?
August 20th, 2013 at 9:02 AM ^
You say you are not a drug dealer, but that only means that you are also a liar. I know this because I know the school that you went to.
August 19th, 2013 at 11:04 PM ^
New meaning to Bomb Ass D.
Seriously though, not good.
August 20th, 2013 at 5:08 PM ^
Who got the bomb ass drugs?
August 19th, 2013 at 11:18 PM ^
Awful.
August 19th, 2013 at 11:21 PM ^
Hope he can turn it around.
August 19th, 2013 at 11:22 PM ^
I guess nobody reads the "etc" section at the end of Brian's UV's, huh?
August 20th, 2013 at 1:11 AM ^
So you take that back!
August 20th, 2013 at 7:11 AM ^
Turn nobody into not everybody and you, sir, have a correct statement.
August 19th, 2013 at 11:22 PM ^
This is the fault of RR no doubt.
August 19th, 2013 at 11:46 PM ^
This just proves that Urbz only engourages his players' thuggery.
August 19th, 2013 at 11:22 PM ^
I am dumbfounded whenever a dunbass like Qotho makes a blanket generalization; if DT did bad things, let him suffer the consequences. But there are plenty of kids from questionable/at-risk environments who have accounted well as student-athletes and Michigan Men.
August 19th, 2013 at 11:26 PM ^
Thank you.
August 20th, 2013 at 12:13 AM ^
Not a "dunbass" just not willing to get into specifics. I never said "it's because he is from a bad area." I KNOW what was going on back when he was there.
August 20th, 2013 at 2:05 AM ^
You're not helping.
August 20th, 2013 at 11:04 AM ^
people here are very politically correct and have ultra thin skins. They often can't handle the truth and reality. Since they can't refute the message (that crime is much more common in certain neighborhoods and that somebody from a certain area is much more likely to be involved in certain criminal activities), so they shoot the messenger.
August 20th, 2013 at 11:43 PM ^
But he may have been from a bad area since then he played football at Michigan and was in the NFL.
August 20th, 2013 at 2:12 AM ^
I would think that, because the kid is from a bad area, it's fair to say its not a surprise that something like this would happen eventually. I would say that most people from really bad areas contribute to said badness or are, at the very least, influenced by it, making the result 'not a surprise'. Whereas becoming a Michigan man and a great student athlete, while not rare, could be considered more of a surprise.
August 19th, 2013 at 11:24 PM ^
What an idiot. I hope coach Carr stands by him like Bo did with Billy Taylor. http://www.annarbor.com/entertainment/billy-taylor-documentary-movie-mi…
August 19th, 2013 at 11:27 PM ^
It's just weed. Who cares.
August 19th, 2013 at 11:39 PM ^
I agree, but that's not why people care about this. He's in trouble which sucks.
August 20th, 2013 at 7:46 AM ^
classified as a drug? I never touched the stuff but really? We have the internet, we have MGOBlog but we allow tabacco to be legal which is more harmful that weed.
August 19th, 2013 at 11:42 PM ^
In Chicago he's a drug dealer, but in Washington state he's just some guy selling pot without a license.
Resisting arrest and hitting a cop is the way bigger issue. That was just an incredibly stupid thing to do -- assuming it's true.
August 20th, 2013 at 10:49 AM ^
Was supposed to make you mellow not violent...
August 20th, 2013 at 12:56 AM ^
I'm thinking Terrell does since he's in the clink.
August 20th, 2013 at 8:50 AM ^
For now, it's still illegal. Keep going down the "it's just weed" path and this thread will be locked faster than you can say, "It's just weed."
August 20th, 2013 at 3:15 PM ^
Not illegal where I live.
But yeah, no need to turn this into a political debate about legality. He's a moron for hitting a cop.
August 20th, 2013 at 9:07 AM ^
so says the MGoBlogger with that drug-saturated avatar.
August 20th, 2013 at 3:17 PM ^
Is this directed at me?
August 19th, 2013 at 11:28 PM ^
HS teammate and his dad worked across the street from me...doesn't surprise me sadly. Teammate said at the time, few years ago he was "the only brother in the hood with a bentley". Ex Gf destroyed his wallet with a failed business, things were not good for the guy. I think he said he did not get a degree either. Sucks but I saw this coming. I loved him and the A trains bear playoff run. Hoping Brandon Minor sees and learns from this, he had a drug charge years ago, both out of Richmond. Don't worry at all about Derrick Green, he has a tight family network, he would rather be at church then a party thank god.
August 19th, 2013 at 11:40 PM ^
some will learn from others' mistakes, others are doomed to repeat them. I just remember what i thought he could have been.....
August 19th, 2013 at 11:44 PM ^
Hate when this happens. Makes it so much harder to be a sanctimonious prick to osu, msu, sec fans.
August 19th, 2013 at 11:53 PM ^
Damnit Terrell, you just got my license to snobbery revoked. How could you do this to me?
August 19th, 2013 at 11:59 PM ^
It's not surprising to me that Terrell's career was sort of a bust.
August 20th, 2013 at 12:14 AM ^
Any individual messing up their life but geez how do you not only screw up a career but piss away millions of dollars? I work for JP Morgan chase and man if I had half of their signing bonus and salary I could never have to work again. C'mon David I hope you can learn and get your life back together. Just sad to hear this news
August 20th, 2013 at 12:53 AM ^
The last three #1s have been an embarrassment.
Butterfield just wasn't good and transferred to a 1-AA. Terrell gets busted for drugs (despite what you may believe, pot is illegal and anyone who takes that risk...why?) and assaults an officer and Braylon with his big mouth and DUI.
That number belongs to A.C.
August 20th, 2013 at 9:46 AM ^
AC's only!!
