but, like the survivors of the Titanic, I fear I'm scarred for life after not being able to login for the last several hour. How long before my hands stop trembling???

I think the addition of the "reply to [comment #]" is a nice touch.  It would be better if it actually listed the proper comment # I replied to, though.

I'm guessing that the comment # that is referenced is the original comment # as of the time that comment was originally posted, and as new posts get added to the string those #s change, causing the references to be inaccurate.

Working here, too. I got a 'changing servers' message this morning several times, though. Then it went away. Then it came back. I cleared my history and it's gone for now again (using Firefox).

I still say MGoBlog is missing a huge opportunity by not going with better boards, even VBulletin is better than this. But it appears Brian doesn't really like the boards, so I guess that won't happen.

What are these webpages written with? Because an outdated version of PHP or something could throw your mojo off if the pages are written with a version that isn't compatible with the server.

Where's the UPVOTING button???  I was just sure that when I woke up I'd see upvoting and downvoting returned to their glorious, functional past.

I was also sure I'd get a pony this year for Christmas.  Struck out there too.

I for one welcome our new nginx overlords. I’d like to remind them that as a trusted MGoBog poster, I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in East Lansing singles bars.

It's a shame the moderation capabilities have disappeared because I have seen some of the funniest posts I've seen in a long time this morning and I can't do anything to show my appreciation for them. Damn this new world!

to the new sever side with all points and avatar intact?

EDIT: Indeed

And since we are on this META topic and there are fancy and lazing fast servers, what about new forum modules? This one is a bit dated.

Also, points. Is it just a dead issue or do I ever have hope of overtaking Magnus?
