Question in regarding College Gameday in Week 2
I'd guess its a good chance with the other big game being South Carolina vs Georgia. Doubt they go to see the Dawgs two weeks in a row, particularly if they get beat week one.
I really hope they come back. I'm not sure if I'm going to wake up again at 5 a.m. to get a good spot for it but it sure is fun.
I'm definitely not waking up for it this time. It was cool to see once but I was too exhausted after the game. I'm sleeping in this time so the celebration can go a lot later afterwards.
Oregon v Virginia might be considered that week.
Wouldn't surprise me corso loves that duck suit

Corso is also an idiot

Corso might want to lay low with regards to Oregon for a while after almost murdering that duck on live TV last year.
UVA still hasn't returned to their mid-90s success.
Looks like the only other big games are:
- Florida at Miami
- South Carolina at Georgia
- WVU at Oklahoma
- Oregon at UVA
I doubt they'd go to Miami (no fans, Miami not in the top 25) or Georgia again. Then the next two games are kind of ho-hum. I'd say it's a pretty sure thing they'll be in A2
Come prepared with your Gameday signs. So much material on Notre Dame this year
Someone with a loud bugle needs to join the crowd and play the Chicken Dance constantly throughout the broadcast.

Yakety sax on a loud speaker anytime they mention Te'o or show a clip of Brian Kelly would be fun.
Looking at the other games for that day, I'd say our chances are pretty good. The best games we'd be competing for are...
Florida State @ Miami (noon)
South Carolina @ Georgia (4:30)
West Virginia @ Oklahoma (7:00)
Washington State @ USC (10:30)
The majority of everyone else will be playing 1-AA teams that day.
Florida vs Miami
Other than sc- uga we gotta great chance
It'll undoubtedly be Clemson-Georgia the week before, and I doubt they'll want to showcase Georgia on Gameday for back to back weeks, so I think that eliminates Georgia-South Carolina.
UM-ND is really the only logical choice there. Great matchup, huge fan bases on both sides that'll be watching, and its the last time ND comes to Ann Arbor for what may be a long time.
Looks like the networks for those games would be.....ESPN, ESPN, Fox, and FSN.
Can't imagine they would pass up the last UM/ND game in AA for the forseeable future.
This is actually huge because ESPN tends not to like to promote games on other channels. Often, it seems like the only time they'll do gameday there is if it's a sure fire pick such as #1 LSU vs #2 Alabama, etc.
Especially since this is the last game before ND "chickens out" of the series for the foreseeable future.
Except for you know, next years game in South Bend

Since you negged me for spelling Lane Kiffin's name incorrectly in a post, I'm on a mission to troll your entries and return the favor. Thanks d-bag.
In my opinion, the only worry is Miami vs FSU
I'm stupid. I read the only post that bad FSU listed instead of Florida
hahaha just joshin' y'all.

Is Clemson-Georgia really a lock for week one? Is there a realistic chance someone else takes it?

Doubtful. If VaTech was better they might get the nod since they're playing Bama, but I bet most people are predicting a blowout on that one. I for one am. They're not even ranked, and they're playing the two time defending national champions. Eeek.
LSU-TCU is a possibility, but Clemson-Georgia is a top-10 matchup, and they've done the opening Gameday at the Cowboy Classic for the past two years.

Could you please explain your thread title?

This has been discussed ad nauseum and yes, it is likely ESPN will come to Ann Arbor for the ND game.
Desmond said on twitter a few weeks ago in a response to someone saying that we were the game for that weekend. Not searching through his entire twitter for the tweet (sorry) but I was very excited when I saw that we were getting gameday.
