I like how they give the individual playes some time in the spotlight.  I did not even know what some of these guys looked like.

Because of the transition on offense, Gallon should be set up to have a very good year, I think. Last year, he was targeted 79 times and made 49 receptions for 829 yards, and his role in a Gardner led offense is evident (both by scheme and because of the changes at WR) by the surge in the number of targets and receptions he had in the last five games. For the year in 2012, Gallon counted for 40% of targets and about 35% of all receptions. As I recall, Gallon has had a reception in 26 consecutive games now too, which makes him tied for Toomer and Arrington for 5th on that list - not bad company at all.

Gallon should be first or second team All-B1G this year.  Not only is he in an offense that will get him the ball more, he's DG's most trusted target, and has worked hard to improve his game and condition.  He looks leaner and stronger, and I expect him to have 60+ catches this season.

How good will they be? I think this team has the capability of leading the conference in passing. I think they will have breakout season, with Gallon and Dileo leading the way supported by an outstanding group of young talent behind them in Funchess, Darboh and Chesson.

In fact, I think this is the deepest Michigan receiver group since maybe 2006. What makes this group so outstanding in my mind, are just how clutch both Gallon and Dileo have been over their careers and the difference they bring along with the younger guys. That contrast along with Gardner's accuracy and deep throwing ability, makes this team extremely dangerous as a quick strike team.

And while the running game is still a question mark with a new Oline in place, the passing game the last five games was a revelation. It had the feel of Michigan of old. And I have this feeling that before he's done Gardner will leave a special mark of his own.
