OT - Hall of Fame Game: Will you be watching?
I am of the school of thought that ANY football is GOOD football (even Canadian and Arena) and am excited the Exhibition Season kicks off Sunday.
I know it's Dallas/Dolphins - but I'm SO starved for Football - I SHALL be watching. Will you?
Yes - I'm lame:

it is most football is good football, not all football. I have a hard time watching much preseason NFL, but that is just me...
a hard time watching the NFL, period. All football is good football, except the NFL.

But I've got the shakes, and the Hall of Fame game is a small taste of the real thing. It's basically the Methadone of football.

I'll give it a couple of minutes, just because it might be fun to see how Miami looks. They have a chance to be a bit of a sleeper just because of that defensive line. But I'm not a huge preseason fan, and watching someone's FA QB throw to a 6th-round TE in the 3rd quarter while the announcers talk about Canton isn't my idea of a good time.

about that sub-plot...even MORE reason for me to watch...maybe I'm not as lame as I thought...nah...yes, I am. LOL

After this long dry spell of no football, watching is a must for me. NFL pre-season is enertaining for me because it helps pass the long last month of anticipation for college football. After the regular season starts all I have to watch for pro football around here is the Packers. With no more Woodson, I have no reason to care.

Canadian football is NOT real football. Not once, not never.

I will probably tune in as well, at least for some it, in order to get a football fix.
I believe the line for this game opened around 2.5 points in favor of Miami. Supposedly, Tony Romo is out (although he has said in interviews he would like to play) but Dez Bryant is expected to make an appearance.
As a reminder for the board, the enshrinement ceremony is the day before - the 2013 HOF class includes Larry Allen, Cris Carter, Curley Culp, Jonathan Ogden, Bill Parcells, Dave Robinson and Warren Sapp.

I will tune in just for the first couple of series, but that's it. Regular season NFL is boring enough, but preseason games are unwatchable IMO.

We're a month away from the regular season, which means we're about 2 months away from focusing on next years LIons draft.
Don't hate, dude... They should be decent this season.

Well I'm a huge Dolphins fan, so I am definitely excited that they are on TV for once. Plus, it's football. So there's that.

Why don't the Dolphins ever wear teal anymore? Light-colors-in-the-hot-sun-thing?
Don't care who playing, it just happens to be my favorite NFL franchise Dallas. We haven't won anything of consequence in years...but who cares...we are undefeated this year so far.
If it's on NBC, sure, it's football. If it's on NFL Network then forget it. Too lazy to watch a stream on NFL Network for a preseason game.
As a Dolphins fan, yes I will be watching.
But it's the only pre-season NFL game I bother to watch much of, since it's the first.
This year, probably flipping from Shark Week.
