OT - Hall of Fame Game: Will you be watching?

Submitted by boliver46 on

I am of the school of thought that ANY football is GOOD football (even Canadian and Arena) and am excited the Exhibition Season kicks off Sunday.

I know it's Dallas/Dolphins - but I'm SO starved for Football - I SHALL be watching.  Will you?

Yes - I'm lame:

I'll give it a couple of minutes, just because it might be fun to see how Miami looks.  They have a chance to be a bit of a sleeper just because of that defensive line.  But I'm not a huge preseason fan, and watching someone's FA QB throw to a 6th-round TE in the 3rd quarter while the announcers talk about Canton isn't my idea of a good time.

After this long dry spell of no football, watching is a must for me.  NFL pre-season is enertaining for me because it helps pass the long last month of anticipation for college football.  After the regular season starts all I have to watch for pro football around here is the Packers.  With no more Woodson, I have no reason to care.

I will probably tune in as well, at least for some it, in order to get a football fix.

I believe the line for this game opened around 2.5 points in favor of Miami. Supposedly, Tony Romo is out (although he has said in interviews he would like to play) but Dez Bryant is expected to make an appearance.

As a reminder for the board,  the enshrinement ceremony is the day before - the 2013 HOF class includes Larry Allen, Cris Carter, Curley Culp, Jonathan Ogden, Bill Parcells, Dave Robinson and Warren Sapp.

I will tune in just for the first couple of series, but that's it. Regular season NFL is boring enough, but preseason games are unwatchable IMO.

Don't care who playing, it just happens to be my favorite NFL franchise Dallas.  We haven't won anything of consequence in years...but who cares...we are undefeated this year so far.

But it's the only pre-season NFL game I bother to watch much of, since it's the first.

This year, probably flipping from Shark Week.
