Quite Possibly the Most Important Photo You Will Ever See Comment Count

This was sent to me from HTTV volunteer copy editor Becky Long, who in 1998 was on the sidelines as UM cheerleader Becky Long. The wide-angle:

Click gets you full size, which is just 300kb or so (to a 1998 hard drive that's huge) but plenty for your need. That need is to cast this image in your head until the most Brady Hoke thing ever has claimed its rightful place next to Don't Make Lloyd Angry, and the Bo-Canham-Bump Press Conference in the Hall of Before-He-Was…

To my knowledge, until now the best Hokepoint from the Before-Time known to the internet was that overused thing with the uncharacteristic headset. Bonus: We now have a photo to use when we talk about Rob Renes and genetic nose tackles.

That is all.

I was at the game on the sideline...in the locker room after the game and I have a pic of me holding the National Championship Trophy!  One of the greatest memories of my entire life!  Jumped on a redeye back to Michigan right after the game and who do I see in the Airport terminal...Mr. Brady Hoke...flying out to a recruiting visit.  The man never stops working!  Just my cool story bro moment! With complete understanding that different angles produce different colors of maize, it sure is nice to see our players wearing Maize and Blue instead of highlighter and Blue.

Thanks to Becky for the awesome photo!

The guy to the left of Lloyd in that pic was a strength and conditioning assistant coach by the name of Ed O'dowd.  I was a student manager on staff a couple years later.

Of most concern to me is why I have a playtex banner add on the MGoBlog page. Someone is getting ripped off for their advertising dollars.  Playtex - the official feminine hygeine product of Michigan Football.  What's next, MGoTampon?  MGoMidol next?

of the early seasons of HIMYM where Barney says somethng similar and then stops and says, "wait, that's not enough buildup". Not that the title isn't an accurate description.

He played RB for my HS and ended up starting on the DL at Michigan. You can imagine what he did to opposing defenses in whatever tiny class out school was in.

Right there, that pic alone tells all.  Combine that with all of his already acknowledged sense of character, i.e., what it takes to be successful in AA and his (OK, he passed on Jake Ryan's attempt  to  play at  SDSU) semingly heretofore ability to get kids that the greats(Bo) were not able to, and it says it all. If he can actually maintain that level of intensity, and it's apparent that he can, based on case studies of his prior two universities, this KAT might be able to take us to  Yost like dimensions. Those were strange times indeed. I can recall a reporter from a W. Va newspaper writing about the battle with Michigan. He wrote that he believed those helmets gave those players majestical powers, and Hell as recently as the Rocket who, incidentally, scorched us, stated, "I looked at those players coming through the tunnel with those helmets and each appeared to be about 7' tall." We just might have something going here. Time, I guess, will tell.

I happen to know Jake Frysinger pretty well, and I can remember him during his senior season complaining about how much food he was required to eat.

"They have me eating Wendy's every night to keep my weight up." - Jake Frysinger

My, how times have changed.   People can stop wondering why we could never stop a dual threat QB.. Wendy's Late Night.

I wouldn't be surprised if he weighed 200lbs now.
