OT: Browns fan's last request
"Let down by his team one last time."
I'm sure MSU fans can do the same thing.
Pirates tie for 1st in the NL overall record... maybe this is the year! Even the Lions went to the playoffs two years ago!
Add the fact that most of them are also Cav's fans, and yeah. Not a good place to be.
Interesting question. Let's marshall the evidence:
Lions: Half a century of almost continuous suckage
Browns: A few decades of almost continuous heartbreak, followed by disappearance and a decade of suckage
Lions: Have the Tigers, who've had a bit of success recently, and a couple championships in the past 50 years
Browns: Have the Tribe, who... yeah...
Lions: Have the city of Detroit
Tribe: Have the city of Cleveland, but the state of Ohio.
VERDICT: Browns, in a landslide.
Welcome back, Chopblock. Weren't you on some peyote induced vision quest eating wild berries and varment, wondering aimlessly through some hiking trails?...or was it- wondering aimlessly through the aisles of a Walmart doing those same things? I can't remember.
Thanks! I tried the latter for a while, until I was informed that the Creatures Of Walmart are protected species under state and federal murder laws. So I reluctantly hit the trail and did about 2000 miles of the AT between peyote episodes and run-ins with the local yeti population.
Lifelong Browns fan here..i have given up all hope..the end
You Lions and Browns fans complain. But at least your teams have won SOMETHING the last 100 years. That is more than the poor Cubs fans can say.
was a sweet rant. Well done sir!
I grew up a Lions fan (father was season ticket holder) and went to virtually all the games from 1968 to 1981. Then I moved to Cleveland in 1987 and now for the last 4 years I've been a Brown's season ticket holder.
When it comes to being a connoisseur of shitty football I believe I have no equal.
Please don't even think of moving to Boston until Brady retires, okay?
My Dad was a Browns fan, but I grew in up in the Detroit area. My two favorite teams: the Lions followed by the Browns. My Brown fandom probably peaked in the 80s. (Ernest Byner NOOOOOO.)
Shitty football - we haz it.
A Browns fan I work with showed me the "Factory of Sadness" rant the other day.

I laughed but man, I feel sorry for Browns fans at this point.
I respect Browns fans, but at the same time I don't get how someone can be so devoted to an expansion team. I prefer a team with a rich history, like the Carolina Panthers, or Jacksonville Jaguars.
You'll never convince me that the game means more to the players than it does to the fans.
Thats too funny lol
