M Den having Online Tent Sale

Submitted by Charlestown Chiefs on

Many of you probably remember the tent sales that M Den had in the last couple months.  Randomly I happened to see that they are doing the same "tent sale" but online this time.  There is not nearly the same amount of merchandise as the actual tent sales but still some solid choices.  I have no idea if/when this sale ends.

Also, on all regularly priced items from 7/4-7/7 you can use the code BLUEBBQ at checkout online or in store to receive 20% off.  Especially for those of you out of state that seems like a great deal.

are those Climalite shirts?  I haven't bought anything yet made of that material, are they better for early-season hot weather, mid-season fall weather, or best in cold weather, layered for insulation.  This inquiring mind needs to know...

I have one climalite shirt from a few years back. The material is soft, but it also has a lot of static. Perhaps it depends on the way you wash it, but that is one reason I don't like it too much. It's a very light material, which is nice for a warm day.

I recall someone mentioning before that the Climalite stuff ran kinda large, so a size M is really a L, etc.  Unfortunately for me I'd have to get a medium for the long sleeve because there's no way a size small would have sleeves long enough for my 6-1 self.

EDIT: Crap, that should have been a response to Space Coyote.

Thanks OP.

Got the retro bear/wolverine hat, another sweatshirt (my dog likes making holes in my adidas sweatshirts) and another alumni plate for my wife's car.

These sales at MDen and Moe's are great for us out-of-state Wolverines.

Anyone else having issues with the 20% code not working?  I get to the confirmation screen and the 20% is NOT applied....hope those of you who ordered were able to get this to work...

Well, I'm going to be a dick but it's the internet...that online sale was meant for season ticket holders. Hence I got the e-mail also, and it says "Private Season Ticket Holder Event" for 7/4-7/7, so it's not private if you spread the word to every single person.

You would be surprised how many "Exclusive Deals/Sales" are not really exclusive.  I get invites to Ralph Lauren's EXCLUSIIVE online sale - but then I go to the store and it's plastered everywhere.  I think it's just a not-so-subtle marketing attempt at assuaging our egos and making us feel special.

I know I'm asking for a lot. But I think it would be really cool if there was a special type of event for season ticket holders. I know Lions season ticket holders get invited to special events like a draft party, or a training camp practice for season ticket holders only. I think it would be great if they did that for Michigan season ticket holders. I know there are alot more of us than Lions season ticket holders, but I would think something could be broken down into a few days of just even a meet and greet in one of the suites or in Glick fieldhouse would be really cool and a nice gesture. Doesn't even have to be every year.

I think the Lions probably need to put on those special events as part of the value proposition for season ticket holders.  I would hope that you get at least as much value from a season of Michigan games as the price you pay, otherwise you probably wouldn't buy the tickets.

I agree with you that it would be a cool and nice gesture, but they don't really owe it to anyone.  Maybe they will need to do something like this when our home schedule gets watered down a bit next year.

I'm pretty sure not every single person happens to read this site.  I also figure most people that do read this site are pretty damn big UM fans and could appreciate saving 20% off some gear to support their team.  I don't think sharing a code such as this is quite on the same level as attending a season ticket holder event where Brady Hoke speaks or something of that nature.  If they truly cared, they would make you use your Victors Club account number at checkout instead of a generic code wouldn't they?

I don't think you are making a very good point, since they have never offered the chance for us to listen to Brady Hoke speak. I agree there is a huge difference and they are not comparable. My point is it's a perk, regardless of size, of being a season ticket holder. I gladly pay my hard earned money, no matter how much they raise the personal seat donation or ticket prices to watch the greatest college football team play in the greatest college footbal stadium, which in itself, is the best perk of all. However, sometimes it's nice to get a small little bonus for continuing to support the university, that's all I'm saying. An extra gesture is all that I ask. But I know it's not going to happen, when Dave Brandon does something like dynamic ticket pricing.

Good thing for you you still get that perk.

What does it matter to you if ten people or ten thousand are getting the same perk? You feel the need to be entitled or something? Just because you have the money to pay whatever they ask for season tickets doesn't make you a bigger fan then everyone else. If you think that way perhaps you're rooting for the wrong team.

I do not feel like I'm a bigger fan because I "have the money". This isn't some thing I throw my money at. I give up other things to be able to afford these tickets, I've just managed my money in a way that I can keep getting them every year. What's wrong with just wanting one little gesture to say thanks for continuing your effort to support Michigan Fooball, here is a token of our appreciation? Also, never again question if I'm rooting for the wrong team, everything I've said does not make me at all a horrible fan or poor sport. This has nothing to do with anyones devotion to Michigan football itself.

As someone who lives out of state, I appreciate the heads up. The clearance items aren't my style, but maybe they are for someone else. The last time moe's had a sale like this I cleaned house with what many others disliked.

Sizing??

I never know how to buy the unisex stuff.  I am female-usually Medium or Large for women's stuff and small/medium for men's--how huge are the climalite t-shirts?  Do they run really roomy?

They are a little larger than usual. One thing that I like, that you probably wouldn't, is that they have an athletic man's fit. I have broad shoulders, so most tee-shirts either look like my sleeves are riding up or I'm wearing a cape, these shirts are designed to by a bit bigger to fit a larger frame. Probably makes it a bit more difficult for a woman to determine an appropriate size though.

Just grabbed the plain MICHIGAN blue and yellow snapback, longsleeve clima cool, and short sleeve heather blue practice shirt, great deals.

As someone who can get a bunch of this stuff for free, these prices are really worth getting on. And cheap denard jerseys?!?! yes please...
