Nope, not really. He's handling his recruitment the way a MATURE teenager handles it when everyone wants you (I'm looking at you, Mr. Pryor).

Sam Webb from Scout has repeatedly said on his podcasts on WTKA that Jelani's dad (who is handling his recruitment) has promised him that when Jelani narrows things down, Michigan will be on that list. Aside from that, not much to report.

I think the way he's handling the recruitment says as much about his parents as it does about him.  His parents seem like good individuals with strong morals, and they're doing their best to help him with the process.  The parents definitely set a good example, that he's following.

He is really really good, and no one knows where he is going to go to school, *but* i have inside information that at some point he will make a decision and said decision will make some people very happy and piss off a lot of other people.

On a more serious note, on film he reminds me of ernie sims and his high school days, (although Jelani is probably about 15 lbs lighter). Both were undersized rush linebackers with ridiculous speed and pop, get off blockers well, and just have this need to get to the football with reckless abandon. Erine was a little bit more athletic but I think that at this point in his career Jelani is a lot more polished than Erine.

With all that being said, we would:

A). Be extremely lucky to land Jelani.

B). Be even more ridiculously lucky if he became anywhere near the type of player Ernie Sims was for FSU.

Lucky?  We are unstoppable.  All the other teams who got commits from 5-star players are lucky that those guys didn't commit to us.  We are the standard upon which all teams are compared.
