Away game tickets at UConn for Victors Club Members Available

Submitted by Charlestown Chiefs on

First ever post so forgive me if it's incorrectly done.

Just received an email from the Ticket Office.  Victors Club members are able to purchase up to 4 away game tickets for the UConn game on 9/21.  Tickets are 60.00 each with a 10.00 handling charge.  All you have to do is login to your account with the ticket office and click the football link and it should show up if you are able to purchase them.  I'm not sure if everyone has the option or if it's a case by case scenario.  Figured I would pass along the info.

I doubt it.  I believe at one point UConn stated they wouldn't even be offering individual tickets for the UM game and the only way to get them would be with season tickets.  My guess is they will do ticket packs like UM does for their season ticket holders before allowing the public to purchase them.

Funny thing about your name. In the movie Slapshot the goalie was a french Canadian. My neighbour played goalie for the Chiefs. And you guessed it, he's a french Canadian. Meant to be I tell ya. Once again thanks. Like I said, if I ever make it out to A2 for a game the first couple of beers are on me. Go Blue!

Anyone know how to create a Victor's Club 'login'? I'l probably move back to AA in a few years, and I'd like to start accruing my priority points now for the wife and I, so we can get tickets when we move. Can I do this somewhere on MGoBlue.com, or do I need to contact the ticket office?

Thanks!

In NY and headed to the game and would much rather give you guys some extra cash, Rather than a UConn person or a broker. I need 2.

Best part is I won a bet with a good friend ND grad. I took Bama and gave the 9.5 in the MNC. Meaning that ND fan is actually paying for the entire trip and will be wearing a #16 jersey for the entire game.

If anyone wants to help me out, I'll gladly pay a bit extra.

Minus the cool story. I'm coming in Montreal and this will be my first time seeing the Maize and Blue. Hotel is already booked, now all I need is 2 tickets. I have no problem paying extra to a UofM student who won't make the trip. Would all the tickets sold to our students be roughly in the same area?

Maybe it would be easiest to set up some sort of buying/selling market for those who can get extras to help the rest of us out.  I would love three tickets, and like others, would pay a premium over the face value to keep it Blue.

If you are interested, my company is running roundtrip coach buses from New York City to Rentschler Field for the game. Could be a good option for people who don't want to have to deal with driving or finding a designated driver, dealing with parking, traffic, etc. Also will be fun to arrive with 50-100 Michigan fans/alums and have the opportunity to tailgate together.

Check it out: http://www.sportspowerweekends.com/bus-from-nyc-for-michigan-at-uconn

Feel free to contact me via my info on the site with any questions. Thanks!

The tickets offered on the UM website are all sold out already...

I contacted the UM Ticket Office 3 months ago and they said away tickets to the Conn game were likely only going to be available for Victors Club members with 10k points and up (I'm nowhere near that point total). Since I needed 4 tix together for this game and Stubhub was 180 a seat for groups of 4 I went on to the Conn Ticket office website and bought season tickets for $187 all in per seat. I just sold the Conn season finale against Rutgers for 75 a seat so now I'm only in the hole $448 for the 4 Michigan tickets plus the other 5 terrible home games that Conn plays...Either way, a great option for those that want to go to the game and live on the east coast...

Wow.  You were told 10K points?  I have 44 and was offered them.  That person gave you some seriously bad info.  I'd be willing to give up 2 or even all 4 of mine.  I'm not sure everyone will be able to make the trip but figured I should get them when I could.  Turns out it was the correct call since they are now sold out.  They don't tell you where the seats are until they ship you the tickets though.  That's the only part that sucks.
