LOL.
Aside from Bama, those ratings are incredibly stupid. Bama > OSU >= Michigan > ND > State. I try to stay unbiased, so those reflect my honest opinion, not homerism.
But I guess I wouldn't expect the team that created the Tebow package that may break open the case against the NCAA to be very good at what they do...

Their version of the B1G is so off par with mine, it's funny. Who do you agree with? Random message board guy or multimillion dollar company?

is Sparty's offense a 90?
I think that means '90, as in 1990. Their offense is the year 1990.
Baylor's offense is also a 90. Last year, Baylor had the #2 offense in the country, and Sparty had the #95 offense (and lost their best offensive player to the NFL).
How is Iowa an 88? They won like 4 games last yr and they weren't even very close in a lot of their games. That's by far the worst one I see in the Big Ten as far as ratings go
Does anyone miss the 2006 soundtrack as much as I do?? I was just listening to all these before this was posted. Thought I'd share.
you not only smell sexy, my friend...
I do smell sexy though.
Was "me myself and I" on 06? Because if it was it needs to be on that playlist
They missed that and Atomic Garden. I loved those two.
The fact that the Sparty offense has above an 80 ranking is laughable.
USC - 91 95 90 hmmmm
Nick hill 99... seriously who on that offense is worthy of an 80? Burbridge annnnd???
Nick Hill is totally worthy of that rating. From all his star moments and play making abilities on their offense last year.
.....
Wait a minute.
The Game.
Catch
Well, the most recent version I have is 2011, so I suppose it's time to get an upgrade. I'd be getting this one anyway, what with Denard on the cover and everything, but I'm really not expecting much of a difference from 2011.
They released the top 15 individual players. Clowney obviously #1.
EDIT: Not sure if I completely missed this in the OP, or it was edited. I'm over it
You must be talking about LT #77?
Yes Lewan, Taylor #77
Is that offensive rating a joke? They shouldn't even be an 83. That's how I know the improvements to this game are minimal.
How does Texas have the same overall rating as LSU? How is Notre Dame's offense rated so good?
Golson is probably still on the team
Not sure if serious...
Ed O'Bannon just high-fived himself after this comment.
Iowa rated 88 on offense, 90 on defense. I don't even.
EA must have gotten their hands on Walter White's stuff.
The worst team in the game is only like a 68 overall, so this is basically the biggest problem with NCAA trying to fit 120 football teams into a 30 point rating span. But even still, that's stupid as hell.
Kentucky: 84 offense, 83 defense.
Yes, this Kentucky:
Kentucky will turn a lot of heads in the next 2-4 years. They've been recruiting exceptionally well.
Commonwealth Stadium or as I like to call it The Barren Wasteland of Lexington.
of Lexington sounds so regal.
Wow, so you lose your main source(s) of productivity from your already inept offense, and that part of your team still gets an A- grade? Really? On the other end, I would think their defense would've been ranked a smidge higher.
The XBOX cover should be there, not Gaystation 3.
The player renderings in the game look exactly the same as previous iterations.
The ratings are dumbfounding as usual.
And the lemmings will continue to dish out $60 for this rubbish.
Good job; Good effort, guys. Go play a real EA game like FIFA instead. This franchise checked out a long, long time ago.
(PS: I too am a huge fan of the 06 NCAA soundtrack. Good call.)
FIFA 13 was released with so many flaws especially in career mode it was ridiculous. EA is a fucking joke... Only reason I'm buying this game is for the cover.
Thanks for that illustration, Tom.
Gibboooooonns!!! Untz untz untz gibbons.
Brennen Beyer is our 6th best player on the game? He had 18 total tackles (9 solo, 9 assists) last year. 0 sacks. Makes a ton of sense. Stellar work again EA.
That's my only real qualm with those top ten players, too. He's not an 88 in that game.
Sounds like i have alot of work to do again this year..michiganman24 EA locker for you Jabronis that what last years best UM roster.
I believe there is a glitch in the '13 version because I downloaded a roster, but it would never load. I did some research and several people had the same issue.
Also, this is probably the last time I'm going to buy the game. I didn't buy the '12 version (and quite frankly, didn't miss it much), but all other games since the '03 version on Gamecube was purchased and played a lot. As noted, I bought the '13 version, but I just didn't play it as much as I used to. I used to play NCAA so much, but it has gotten boring for me. Now of course, when I get the '14 version, I will play it a lot for about six months because I like doing the dynasty mode, but I'm sure by January I will be bored with it.
Gross, they still have the elephant tusk road jerseys in the game. Didn't we finally rid ourselves of those last season?
Why do we still have those ugly away uniforms in NCAA?
Lewan? I only know of "LT #77".
As usual, I'll be doing a fair amount of editing. Beyer should be around 80, not 88. The young players will probably be woefully off. Hope this is the yet they expand rosters to 85 from the freshmen killing 70 it's always been. Oh wait, no chance.
I hatehatehatehatehatehatehatehatehate the 70-player roster limit. Why not just decrease the total number of yearly scholarship or cut you off from getting another commitment once you've reached the limit? There's a million things in these games that drive me crazier (hello flying linebackers), but that one really stick in my craw for whatever reason.
Anyway, I guess I might buy this year because...Denard?
Braxton is only an 87 speed? Gardner is 90, which I am probably ok with. Braxton should probably be right there too. I will say that I kind of like that Clowney is a 99 and the next highest guys are 97's
